September 1999 was my first show with Cannibal and the Headhunters and into a life of singing professionally. I joined them in 1998, but they had me rehearsing every week for about 10 or 11months before this show came along. I met Tito Puente Jr. that day too... He performed just before we were to go on... It was a Brazilian Festival and lively, but I wanted to go to sleep from nervousness. One thing that happened that I will never forget is that after we sang, several young women came up to me and asked if they could kiss me! I said YES! LOL... And so one by one they each have me a KISS 😘. Then we took a photo. I can't remember if it was six or eight of them but I was in heaven as they posed to my left and right. ¿Qué tienen los chicanos y por qué hacen música tan chida?

Me imagino que cuando la música vive tan dentro de tí un solo proyecto no es suficiente, la mente no para y buscas más que hacer; en una de esas noches donde Twitter es tu único compañero encontré a Shidü.

Integrantes de Cuco pero con un proyecto diferente, sonidos envolventes y vitales que te dan ganas de tener un poquito más, su música anima para que te pongas a trabajar o hacer lo que sea que quieras.

¿Un género? imposible encasillarlos, como ellos dicen “haciendo un montón de música diferente solo por amor a ella”.

Vibrante y un poco misteriosa serían las palabras para describir la música que nos dan, pero sin dudas es eso mismo lo que te hace seguir escuchando, yo elegiría una noche tranquila para descubrir que puede hacer en ti.

Podemos escucharlos en Soundcloud, donde nos regalan 15 canciones hasta el momento, elegir una favorita se vuelve complicado, así que solo puedo decirles que abran los oídos a estos sonidos emergentes que seguramente nos tienen mejores cosas preparadas.
