ChiChi Brow Pomade-REVEIW
The first thing that comes to mind with a brow pomade is how “onfleek” will my eyebrows be after this and how easy is it to achieve “onfleek” status. Well those were my thoughts on buying it anyways. Before I bought it, I had noticed a fair amount of speculation and I soon saw that it was becoming the latest fad, move over micellar water, so I thought I would pick it up and give it a go.
The formula itself is incredibly smooth. I first learnt this when I decided to use a bit to much force with my brush and ended up with a scoop of product on my brush. It was a bittersweet surprise. The formula was a lot different than I thought it’d be and wasn’t too oily or translucent as I had a worry it would be.
The actual application of the pomade is a dream. I get most excited about the clean and sharp lines created with an angled eyeliner brush, which is something that you don’t quite get with the likes of a pencil liner, powder or even the E.L.F Brow Kit. The product doesn’t dry out too fast, so there is also a lot of time to work with the shape and the fill of your brow. I am mostly a big fan of the way that you can create a feathered look with theremaining product on your brush, without getting harh lines or no pigment at all. Another point that I am rather in love with is the lack of concealing I had to do with the product. Most other brow options require a bit of concelaing to get that HD finish but this pomade gives little to no reason to conceal which is fine with my lazy self.
The wear of the pomade is very satisfactory. I can leave my brows filled for 10+ hours and have them still remain as sharp as when I drew them on.
While the product wasn’t incredibly cheap on a students budget, every dollar that goes toward the roughly $25nzd product is worth it. I would highly reccomend as a little goes a long way and that makes for less product bought in future. One tip I would suggest is making sure you’re leaving the lid on while not using as its prone to cracking and slightly drying out.
9/10 for me and happy brow filling!
