Achari Chicken
Ingredients
Chicken 600gm
Mustard oil 4-6
Bay leaf
Cinnamon stick
Black pepper
Cloves
Cardamom
Star anise
Mace
Onion
Salt
Ginger & garlic paste
Chilli powder
Coriander powder 2tsp
Red chili stuffed Pickle
Method
Add 4-6 tsp of Mustard oil into the Pot. Heat it well till it gets smoky hot.
In hot oil add 1 Bay leaf, 2 Cinnamon stick, 2-3 Mace, 4-5 Cloves, 1 star anise, 10-12 Black pepper, 5-6 Cardamom.
Saute the spices for 1-2 minutes and then add the 3 big chopped onions.
Add ½ tsp salt and 1tsp ginger & garlic paste. Saute till onion get golden brown.
Add Chicken pieces and cook them for 3-4 mins.
Now in the chicken add Red chili powder and coriander powder and mix well.
Chopped 2 stuff Red chili Pickle and add the chopped pickle into the chicken. Mix all the ingredients well.
Add salt as per taste and mix well. Now cover the pot with the lid and let it cooked for 30-35 mins on low flame.
Now remove the lid and Achari chicken is ready to server.
Chicken fry
Hi,
This is a very easy and tasty chicken fry.
It is good with roti/chapati or you can use it as a side dish with your meal.
Ingredients:
Chicken - 1 pound or half KG
Onions- 2
tomato- 1
Green chilies- 5-6
Ginger garlic paste- one and half spoon
Pudina- 5-6 sticks
Coriander- 2-3 sticks
Pepper powder- half tea spoon
Garam masala - 1 tea spoon
oil- 2 table spoon
Method:
Finely Chop onions, Tomato, pudina, coriander and slit the green chilies.
Heat pan, add oil, put chopped onions and fry, when they are little fried add chicken, turmeric and salt.
Allow the chicken to fry till the raw smell and the chicken water is gone. (about 10 mins)
Now add green chilli, pudina, ginger gralic paste and fry for 3 minutes,
Next add tomatoes and mix well.
Then add garam masala, pepper powder and fry for 2 minutes.
Add half cup of water and Allow the chicken to cook in medium flame.
When the water is evaporated check if the chicken is cooked and also check for salt.
Now add coriander and mix well. (If you think the chicken is not cooked well yet, you can add some water and cook it for another 5 mins. )
The chicken fry is ready to eat!!
