for some reason i thought matsunaga tenma was way more famous than he actually is
As the first person in the west to actually sit through this show I'm thrilled to announce that SICK'S fucking SUCK'S.
It shouldn't even have been greenlit, considering the way SPEC ended.
So, you'd think they would take the chance to give it a fresh start, but nope. Still the same convoluted timeline. And then it rehashes every possible beat from the original shows in a desperate attempt to make you like it.
And I get that the Shibata and Touma cameos were supposed to be funny since, of course, there's no way the actresses would agree to be on this show given the budget, but they're just sad. Especially considering what they do with Shibata.
*gets real close to the mic and causes a loud feedback* こんなところでごめんね
Having watched it at last I can finally give my thoughts on the brazilian Desumyu production.
Since it's a drama school project, it's very low budget and with its technical issues and faults (*cough* Misa's actress *cough*) but Ryuk, who's an understudy in the proshot i watched, and Light's actors managed to carry it all by themselves, with L's actor not being far behind them. That being said i didn't like how they chose the english concept album as a basis for the songs when the rest of the script obviously had to be adapted from japanese. The decision to cut Honor Bound but keep the filler song about the police force's reluctance from the japanese version was also weird.
I hope it gets a higher budget revival at some point (lol like that would happen).
Couldn't think of anything else when i saw this in the TGS presentation
the breaking bad/better call saul bubble i'm in is too strong
