Meet Chieko!
Meet Chieko Setsushi, pianist and main singer from GRADIENT!
GRADIENT is a fan Project Sekai unit whose goal is to prove that classical music is not only for the elites.
Chieko Setsushi is called a music prodigy from the very start of her life. She sings and plays the piano almost since she can speak and move. Everyone can tell that this pretty little girl has a unbelievable talent: she sings like a angel, she looks like an angel.
But Chieko is also a very shy girl who can’t make friends: because of that, she’s bullied as a kid. Even though the bullying had stopped, she grows up with an intense fear of mistakes and rejection.
Chieko puts a lot of pressure on herself and the discovery of SEKAI is really good for her: now she has a home, and friends. She’s the first who discovers Untitled on her phone and plays a lot with Miku.
But when Jin and Hideki come into the SEKAI, Chieko starts feeling bad: her hands are shaking on the piano and her voice keeps cracking. People around her notice that, and suddenly, a rumor start going around her:
"Chieko Setsushi is nothing more than a fallen angel anymore."
But despite her anguishes, Chieko becomes friends with GRADIENT and the VIRTUAL SINGERS of her SEKAI. She even meets an old childhood friend, Riku, who will be the drummer of the group.
She’s determined to play piano again, to sing again and to deploy her wings again.
