Jack dropped the set amount of Sirens in BL2 during a sidequest. I’m iffy on it as well. Also, equally as miffed on the ‘Sad Jack’ front. Hate the cult of personality he has. I also wondered about Nekrotafeyo. “Hello Maliwan. How the fuck did y'all get here so fast?”

I knew the 6 siren rule existed but BL3 seems to be showing all of them at once while also kinda cutting off their own ability to make more in the future, or at least more with new inventive powers, via the implication that there’s ALSO 6 power sets. Tannis didn’t get unique ones she got Angel’s; Ava didn’t get unique ones she got Maya’s, etc. Seems limiting because now if they want a player siren and want to use their lore there’s only, like, phasewalk, phaseshift, phaselock, phaseslam, and so on. The idea that a siren can essentially name a successor is cool, I don’t have a problem with that, but I think I’d rather see that siren develop their own powers.

Sad Dad Jack is frustrating. Not looking forward to whatever cold takes I’ll see in fandom following this. 

I was gratified that when I went to go bother Rhys he also had dialogue wondering how tf Maliwan got to Nekrotafeyo lmao.

Same. Totally understand if she wants to expand her horizons, playing the same character for so many years has gotta be tiring after a while. Hopefully she doesn't go the way of Ziva.

I actually put in the tags (before deleting obviously) about how she’ll probably be allowed to leave without being killed off. Even after leaving the show. Given NCIS’s track record, pretty much the only NCIS female who’d still be alive for so long would be the other Abby. 

i’m curious what else she might do, or if she might do what emily deschanel seems to be doing and taking a break to focus on living life

For those curious, what happened is: 

The new Critical Role character Sam plays, Taryon, is gay. Tary spoke about how his (mob boss) father is homophobic, caught him with another man, and the other man was never seen again. Tary also has some internalized homophobia -- he wants to be a famous hero, and believed he needed to sleep with women because heroes in stories are always straight. His family is from Wildmount, and thus far in the show, Wildmount seems to be a haven of necromancy, vampirism, slavery, etcetc. So homophobia is par the course for that continent.

However, the fandom has been on Matt Mercer and Sam Reigel’s asses for this reveal, for a number of reasons. Apparently fandom feels you can never have a gay character with a tragic backstory because it’s done so often. They’re angry homophobia was introduced, when there hasn’t been homophobia in the show before. They’re angry a gay man was fridged offscreen. Etcetc. Since then, Matt in particular has been receiving endless hatred and lengthy rants with criticism for him allowing this backstory into his campaign.

Matt, bless him, has been very open and very apologetic in response to that criticism. The guy has a history of letting people tell him what he’s done wrong and then saying, “I’m very sorry, I’ll do better.” It’s been about the same in this situation.

HOWEVER, today he did a live Q&A on Twitch. This topic came up again. Matt explained his own irl history with homophobia, losing a family member among other things. In the process of explaining this, and apologizing for the misstep with this character, and trying to say he understands -- he broke down crying.

I understand where people are coming from in their criticism, but I hope people are happy they’ve hounded this guy to the point he broke down crying in front of thousands of people in the internet. We have very few people in the D&D community willing to even TRY to include representation, and Matt’s already given us quite a few non-straight and non-cis NPCs, along with AT LEAST two main PCs who are bisexual + this new PC who is gay. This growing habit of people aggressively assaulting him for not getting every single god damn thing right 100% of the time on the first try really needs to end. No one is perfect. He’s trying extremely hard to be understanding and work with people to make sure he improves. Lay off.

I believe it was only 3 times and the 5 times was a bug on TinyCo’s part. I’m not 100% sure what’s right now, so if anyone has a more solid answer let us know.

maybe give them a comparable rez. nanoboost someone back to life. lol

buffs that need to come to the other healers are: Lucio = increase the AoE of his songs from 10m to 15m. Amp It Up should increase the range of his songs from 15m to 20m and heal for more as well as give a greater speed boost.

Zenyatta = Orb of Harmony should give a 15% Damage Reduction. increase the damage of his attacks by a little bit

Ana = revert all the nerfs she’s ever received. 

if current Mercy was in a game where old Ana, DR granting Zenyatta, and bass-boosted Lucio existed, she’d be less of a must pick.
