to everyone who participated in the matching themes thing: thank you! since everyone now uses other themes, i can finally put them online. also, i notice its been a long time since i last made themes (the structure of the themes is roughly the same, however there are some differences)

theme dump

i made a post about some of my themes a while back, but decided to make a new one because the old one.. was kind of disorganized and i realized i had more requests (and made more personal themes) than i thought i ever would

this post is just to dump some themes in, that i dont feel deserve their own post (or i feel too lazy to make them), also because making posts is the most painful part of my theme-maker life (next to fixing and patching themes up)

my old personal theme based on the devil survivor 2 game manual

* to turn twitter on, you have to sign in with your twitter account via settings > your account

** side images appear at the bottom left corner next to the posts and maximum size is 250px * 500px. you can set two images (one for index pages and one for permalink pages)

like the previous one, because it was personal there isnt a lot of possible customization

im thinking of changing my theme again but like always, i dont want to just throw away my soon-to-be old theme (esp because i put some effort into it) so i will just release it for the public

* size is 348px * 600px, feel free to use your own images, but any bigger than that and they will be cut off. just like in any other situation, i strongly recommend using transparent images and/or editing them yourself so they look nicely

because it was (still is) my personal theme i didnt put a lot of customization possibilities on it. i also made some adjustments to the code (no hatofuls and no yemutu/mizar on the public version (although you cant currently see them on my blog, they are definitely there))

i added comments in the code that should help you set it up, but if you have any trouble/problems, feel free contact me (i will reply within 24 hours, and please send me another message if i dont)

there are three sections you have to add/edit, one in the CSS/head and two in the body

but first, you have to choose an id that has to be unique and must not contain any special characters (empty spaces included, underscores excluded). username and user_name are ok, user name not. in this example i will go with my imaginary friend username (bold parts will be replacable)

first, in the head part (after the first comment marked by /** (...) **/ , before </head>), you need to add an image for your user:

#upper_screen #username { background-image: url(http://tumblr.com/image.jpg); }

next, the section in the top bar. you need to add this after the second comment (line ~239)

<div id="username"> <p>nickname</p> <p>handle</p> </div>

make sure that username is the same as above. the first <p> will always display the name they go by, the second will always display their handle, the third will display the age (optional; you can change the label for all)

lastly, the bottom bar. add the following after the last comment (line ~271)

and that's it. make sure to use working urls and names that make sense, but only change the bold parts. you may want to copy the lines in the comments because the quotation marks here may have changed (-> may not work)
