Gosh it seems like it's only been a few months since I wrote last year's speech?
Welp, anyways, I'd like to thank everyone for making this a fantastic year, yeah? I think I've individualized more as a person this year, so I guess that counts as an accomplishment, haha!
But like, I definitely wouldn't have made it without all the friends I've made online, for sure. Y'all are too sweet and awesome. Specially since I'm a pretty selfish person who half-asses a lot of shit.
First to go are mah senpais. Chi, Koto, and Murrrrrrr. I haven't really talked to y'all lately, and for Chi and Mur I know it's mostly because you both have college and with Koto it's because I'm sorta out of click with Utapri and seiyuus? (mostly probably because I'm a little intimidated about starting convos) but whenever we do talk, I have a lot of fun ye. I hope you guys have a fantastic year coming up for you ;;
Um I think now it's for the peeps around my age, so, One, Mar-chii, and Jess. One, even though we don't see eye to eye some of the time, it's been nice to see a different point of view (since I often forget that my way isn't the only way) and it's brought a nice sense of perspective into my life. (ALSO STOP MAKING ME SHIP SHIPS DAMMIT).
Mar-chiiiiiiiii my bestie bestie best friend in the world. I can't wait to see you for spring break ;; We haven't talked at all this year until recently, and I've really missed you a lot. Make sure to be safe coming over so that we can flip over Dino KHR okay? ;;
Jessssssss. I'm not sure if she'll be reading this? but if she does, I wanna know I've had a lot of fun with her and she's been a really great friend with everyone else at school, it's pretty hard since a lot of my good friends are scattered, so it's been a blessing finding her and everyone else at my crappy school. I didn't really expect to bond with her as much as I did this year and it's been great ;;
And now for my presh kohais, Dia and Papsy. First of all, I'm jelly of ur artsu and it amazes me everytime I remember you guys are younger than me omg |'D. But, you guys are really mature for your age and I'm seriously glad there are kiddos (yes even tho u guys are like a year or two younger than me ur kiddos) like you out there in the world.
Dia, this year you've seriously been the best, I know that you've had a lot of stress going on dealing with school work and stuff, but the fact that you put that all to the side and crack jokes and stuff when I get upset seriously makes me feel a bit guilty over being so whiney. You're a really strong girl and I'm so proud of you yes. Ur Aneki is very proud, much happiness, so appreciative.
PAPSY. YES. I AM VERY GLAD TO HAVE STARTED TALKING TO U FINAL- oh caps right. But yas, I was seriously surprised to learn you were younger than me (you seem like around Chi's age actually). But you're crazy way of thinking and your artsu is the best and I hope I can talk to you a lot more this coming year ;;
Ahahaha, this was supposed to be really sappy, but doing all y'all like this I wasn't able to get very sappy. But here it comes I guess?
But uh, this year was a bit difficult, mostly in the emotional department, I guess? Sorta cuz I'm an introvert who really wants to go out and can't because I'm really shy around others. Also because my family and I are drifting apart and all yeah. Also school has been a real downer since I'm reminded daily at that place that I'm only a year away from graduating and becoming an "adult". So that fact has scared the crap out of me because I really don't know what I'm going to do, since my parents don't support any arts careers, and only technological careers, which pisses me off a lot since I can only handle technology so much and yeah. So I sorta put on airs a lot this year and I think it's shown a bit (mostly through silence I think). But hanging out with everyone aforementioned really helped a lot this year and it makes the future a bit easier to deal with yeah? I'm going to try being more supportive of all of you this year though, since I did a pretty crappy job of it this year. I may not know exactly what to say since I'm terrible with words (this speech is proof) so I'll mostly be handing out pats on the back and hugs, just know that I'm really trying my best to support you all, 'kay?
So um, I guess that concludes it for this year yeah? I'm going to put down a few (realistic) new year's resolutions : D
Write. Write as much as I can for Project Zero. It's really branched off from where it was last year, and now I need to finalize it
Start working harder in school. So far I've pretty much half-assed my Junior year so far, and my grades have been dipping. So this semester, and the first semester as a senior, I'm going to work hard!
Take college classes. This summer I'm going to a community college to start collecting credits before I go somewhere expensive.
Get a job. Sorta self explanitory, needs moola to buy the animez.
Loose a few pounds. Although I'm fairly happy with my body as it is, I think it'd be best if I did slim down just the tiniest bit, since I do feel guilty about having my parents to buy me clothes because something doesn't fit anymore.
Improve in art in some way. Though I may not be perfect with it, I'll try to do what I can.
