i have a headcannon (at least for the fannon understanding of tim) that tim does a lot of self soothing gestures from his time alone in the drake estate. like if he’s standing there zoning out maybe he’s hugging himself without realizing or maybe when he gets hurt he lets out a choked mantra of “i’m okay, i’m okay, i’m okay” to himself or something along of those lines. maybe he talks to himself outloud when he’s tired. listen, i love fics that have tho whole criminal neglect aspect but you gotta give tim some characteristics of children in isolation in the caregiver aspect!

don't imagine the loose floorboard in the back bathroom of the todoroki family house

don't imagine a young shouto running the shower water as he lifts the floorboard to get to the notepad underneath it

don't imagine him reading the coded messages his siblings have written on the back page since he last checked

don't him tearing it out and letting it clump and dissolve in the hot shower water when he's finished reading

don't imagine him writing back in the same code and double, triple checking that the floorboard is as inconspicuous as ever after he secures the notepad back into it's place.

im so tired of walking on eggshells.

im so tired of having to stay silent today against my delusional bitch abuser bc I though it was the best way to protect my peace, not realizing she genuinely knows no boundaries against me who she enslaves. and won't start to when she's in an abusive position of power where no one makes her take accountability, and everyone either shamelessly fucking agrees with her or "has" to.

Mental Health in Isolation

Between COVID-19 and the horrific murder spree in Nova Scotia Canada this week, it is clear that we need to brush up on how to stay sane, to stay mentally healthy.
