General question! What got you hooked on Steveya?

It all started shortly after season 2 finished airing. I was thinking about Raeda and how a great potential ending to the show could be their wedding, and I felt inspired to draw their wedding reception.

I started planning the drawing and wanted to include as many characters in the background as possible, of course including the CATs. I started thinking about how/where to pose everybody, and it occurred to me “hm! It would be cute to have Steve and Katya dancing together! They are technically coworkers now!”

My friends, that was the beginning of the descent into madness. I just liked the idea of them together so much—two people who wear masks for opposite reasons, both victims of the same oppressive system but took completely different paths from it, lovers on opposite sides of the law…it all just scratched my brain in the best way.

I never even got close to finishing the drawing, my brain had fully moved on. At that point I decided to search ao3 for fics about them and was shocked and disappointed to find none lol. So! I decided to write the stories I wanted to read, and the more I wrote about them the more obsessed with them I became. It was a slippery slope, but I’m so glad everything happened the way it did bc this wonderful little rare pair of mine has given me so much fun and helped me connect with a lot of lovely people in this fandom <3

Bittersweet Symphony Delayed Chapter Announcement!

Hi all! We are going to be delaying Chapter 22 of Bittersweet Symphony a week due to some personal reasons. We should be back on track next week.

I might release a chapter of Hoot Alone this week to keep myself on track.

I was going to add more detail but I’m still REALLY feeling out the art process and the overall procreate program! I figured this was okay though, for the process of practicing poses and brushes, not to mention finding my style, which will be a journey?

It’s been slightly over two years since I started the first chapter of SCOM and Artemis’ name was tightly tucked away in my notes. I’m so incredibly inspired by fan artists who draw their OCs/ fan kids into their own AUs and I wanted to give it a shot myself?

Welp. My kiddos cosplayed for the first time at NYCC (their faces are covered mostly, so I’m cool with this pic going out ) but the line to meet the TOH VAs was way too much for them.

I do hope that the fandom is still kicking for a while… Disney made a big mistake not extending this show! The amount of fans who were there this Sunday was incredible.
