I created my personna Confident Queen as a modern day superhero, who helps children and adults to build their self esteem and confidence.

I was then inspired to include Confident Queen in my  first Children’s Book  “I can blow up a balloon with the aim of using the story to teaching children aged 5-7 how to be confident and not give up when trying to do things.

The Story is about a young boy who could not blow a balloon and how Confident Queen teaches and equip him with a special Gift of Confidence box which has special things he uses to help him feel more confident to blow the balloon.

For world book day i encouage children to dress up with some of the Confident Queen accesories and sing and dance to the fun confidence song I wrote.

  About world book day

This is the 21st year there’s been a World Book Day, and on 1st March 2018, children of all ages will come together to appreciate reading. Very loudly and very happily. The main aim of World Book Day in the UK and Ireland is to encourage children to explore the pleasures of books and reading by providing them with the opportunity to have a book of their own. http://www.worldbookday.com/about/

Here is my simple Confidence song to help especially children to feel more confident. You can print it and write your child’s name on it as well as using it as a wa of discussing about being confident.

You can also get them to create their own confidence poster which they can put somewhere thay can see  every day, so that it can help them at times when they are not feeling so confident.
