Iye Gbakie, 34 yrs old, is dying from an unknown illness. She is the mother of three boys, and the aunt of adopted nephew Francis Yorpoi, whose parents died during the Ebola epidemic. Often the family must choose between feeding themselves versus providing her with medical care. They will often go for two or three days without food if she requires an x-ray or a visit to the doctor. She has not been given a diagnosis, nor has she or the family been informed that she might be dying from this illness.
