Meredith had stopped the moment she'd seen Milah when making her way to the harbour. She didn't quite know what to do, she'd ran from her father and their home when she'd seen her mother fall; her heart in the hands of a stranger. There was a certain spark in the young woman's eyes, something familiar in those haunting blue hues that had been watching her. A few steps forward and Milah tilted her head, teeth running over her lip in thought before she spoke softly. "Do I? Most people tend to stray away from me."
