Pidge and Hunk are in college together as roommates trying to start up a club
Allura, a marine biologist teacher at the college, agrees to support the group if they can find three other people to join.

Shiro is the first found, wandering around the downtown area. He is a phantom.
Lance is the next found, flirting with the girls at the mall. He is a cupid.
Keith was the tricky one to find; he was in an abandoned hospital using a demon spell to make the superstitions of the place “real”. He is a devil.
Allura and Coran didn’t expect Pidge and Hunk to find others from the other three realms
The Divine realm is where Lance presided, a paradise for those that live in it, but it all feels fake
The Tormented realm is Keith’s location, a nightmare of a place where fears and violence rule. One must be thick-skinned to survive
The Illusioned realm is where Shiro was, a place where nothing seems to have changed from the time of death, but for some reason the being can’t let go of something.
The Living realm is here Pidge and Hunk are, it is full of those that those of the Divine and Tormented realms target.
The Galra are a TV sponsored Paranormal Investigator team, with Lotor being the face on the TV and Zarkon being the Director. They have crushed up starting investigator groups.
Each of the Voltron group specializes in one area
Hunk is good with the mythology group, things like vampires, werewolves, and the like
Pidge is good with the fae folk, able to know which ones are in an area and if one is tricking them
Shiro is good with the Illusioned group as he has spend the most time there
Keith Is best when it comes to the hellish group, knowing what makes them tick
Lance dominates in the divine group, keen to their tricks and tactics
Shay joins their group later on, against her brother’s wishes, and does what she can to help out
The brother contacts the Galra group and lets them know of an up starting group that is gaining momentum.
The Galra Group repeatedly tries to diminish the hopes of the Voltron group, but are countered at every turn
Normally people can’t see supernatural stuff, and those that naturally can are far and few between
Pidge, her father, and her brother were spirited away by fae folk. Only she got away and is trying to find a way to get them back.
Hunk’s mother was turned into a vampire while she was eight months pregnant with him; he only got the ability to see things others couldn’t.
When in dire straits, Keith and lance can use powers of higher ranking demons/angels
Lance’s is known as Seraphic Release
Keith’s is known as Sinful Inferno
After they put up their site, they get flooded with hits of possible supernatural places, most of them from places the Galra have already hit.
Most of these are places that did not have their issues resolved or had their issues get worst since the Galra arrived.
