Jeonlous Rants?
Can someone kindly explain to me where all these rants about Jeonlous and jealousy, in general, are coming from? What triggered these? Help me understand because it feels like I just blinked and all of a sudden, some people despise the idea of it in the ship fandom so badly, it's almost like they've hated it for a very long time. Even those accounts that posted about their excitement about it are now suddenly complaining that it's gone too far (?), not fun (?) anymore, and that it needs to stop asap. How? When? Why? I had assumed that some of these people already understood the possible dynamics of JM/JK's relationship, based on the visuals available to us -- that JK and JM are growing men in progress, JM/JK even more so as a relationship in progress. Reactions or behaviors that could potentially yield problematic consequences (e.g. jealousy, possessiveness) are part of this progress, though they might not always be found in all relationships and in all growing people. That is, these behaviours occur almost naturally, although not everyone express these sentiments explicitly. Why complain about it now when other people are joining in on the "hype" for these observations? What happened? I want to understand because right now it feels like yet just another kind of "hype" in this ship fandom but going the opposite direction because some people don't truly understand where they stand, and personally, it's just as unhealthy as the one they're ranting on about.
