Today I want to recommend a song from the Life Journey(in Chinese: 旅行团)， an indie-rock band in China. It was written in Bossa Nova style. When you plug in your earphone, you’ll be welcomed by a brisk ocean breeze and warm sunshine on the back in a lazy summer afternoon. It’s like falling love and missing someone secretly. The loneliness inside would swell along the dreamy melody. Despite that, the whole tone stills seems to convey the love of life and melancholy of unrequited love.
Although the lyrics in French don’t sound that authentic, the overall effect turns out to be good.
About the Life Journey:
Formed in 1999, the Life Journey signed to Modern Sky in 2005. It has released 5 albums and 6 EPs. Lonely Day comes from their debut. Their music style varies from indie-rock to Britpop and ambient.
