How long did it take for you to try and master the skills of reading ones natal chart using the placements of the planets and stars?

I’m still learning as it is, I learn new things everyday (and I think I’ll never really stop learning as I go). 

But I started out reading charts for fun (for others) after I studied it for sometime. I really believe practice is crucial to test your knowledge/challenge yourself further.  The sooner you feel like you’re ready to step out of your comfort zone, the more you’ll learn from experience. I don’t believe there’s a set time because everyone learns at their own pace, but once you start reading someone’s chart (even just for fun) you have to be able to take certain degrees of credibility for it. 

Thus, whenever you feel like you might want to try your hands at reading. Warn the other person of your skill level and do what you can. Getting your feet wet is really the first step.

Like I said everyone learns at their own pace, but fear stops people from really seeing what they can do. And how can they learn if they don’t try? Please keep this in mind sometimes. 💕 I hope you have a happy holiday 💕

What do you have to study to be an astrologist? Can you study astrology without using occultism or tarot?

Hey there 💕 from what I know, you can technically get a degree to be a professional astrologer-- it’s not the same as a bachelor degree, and other astrologers might apprentice under someone for sometime before breaking out on their own (two options)

Unfortunately I might not be the one to go to for opinions about this, since I’ve never been through the experience. However, a lot of people tend to start out self-studying, so a good start might be to study on your own first. To supplement your knowledge/foundation a bit before enrolling if you’re interested in those paths?

As for what ‘you have to study’ -- preferably you’ll find something that you want to examine in details (kind of like choosing a major/doing thesis) from what you’ve built as your foundation.
