You’re smothering me 😑 halp
............this show may or may not be the reason I started calling my chinchillas my “bun buns”.
(Dusty became “Dusty-bun” for some reason, my sister started calling all my chins “bun”, and they all became “buns” instead of “chins”. even though they are clearly not rabbits)
Dusty has elected to use the tiny little treat-stick that attaches to the bars of the cage... as a lookout perch.
(This is the same chinchilla that purposefully, intentionally, crams himself into teeny tiny spaces, to sleep there, and jumps on TOP OF the huge 36-inch wheel and roosts there like a gargoyle. I love Dusty, he’s definitely an experience.)

Secret glimpse into the sleepy chinchilla cuddle pile, ft. Dusty and Sisu.
.....oh my gosh, watching a chinchilla groom his tail is suddenly the most intriguing, cute soft-bendy-nibbly thing I’ve ever seen.
i love these fluffs.
