Masahiro Shinoda - Silence (1971)
wait people think SILENCE is anticatholic???? seriously?????
They do. This is the kind of analysis you get when you expose conservative American Catholics to Catholic art from parts of the world outside North America and Western/Central Europe. They experience it as an SCP Foundation-style cognitohazard. We shouldn't be surprised by this when there are Catholics in this world so afraid of their own reflections that they think Tolkien is anti-Catholic.

I know nothing about sign language but I'm sure of one thing: Chinmoku is very sweet and the (kinda) mute team will do great

Chinmoku Prologue Reaction:Head in the Clouds [OPEN]
Clouds…
As he slowly came to, they were the first thing he noticed. The fluffy white puffs slowly drifting across the sky were a common sight for him; though not as common a sight when one is first awakens from slumber. As he slowly started to become aware of his surroundings, however, that wasn't the only thing out of the ordinary. Instead of pajamas, he appeared to be wearing his daily attire… though given he was lying on rough dirt, maybe it was for the best he wasn’t wearing his school uniform. As he looked around from his spot on the ground, it seemed like, aside from the companionship of a few tents and trailers, he was alone.
Whatever was going on seemed too real to be a dream, so something must have happened that he hasn’t remembered... but… was it something that, given calmness of his surroundings, really needed addressed immediately? After all, he wasn’t even sure what plan of action to take if he were to take one. So he decided to act by… not acting. He lifted his head off the ground long enough to put the hood up on his hoodie, squirmed around for a second to make himself as comfy as he could on the ground, and started to watch the clouds. Unlike those aimless travelers in the sky, he wasn’t going anywhere.
He became so immersed in his cloud gazing that even if company arrived, he wouldn't notice them and would continue to just lie there unmoving...
« My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast ! I will sing and make melody ! Awake my soul ! Awake, O harp and lyre ! I will awake the dawn. » In childhood these words had always risen in his mind when he watched the wind blow over the blue sky and through the trees ; but that was a time when God was not as now an object of fear and perplexity but one who was near to the earth, giving harmony and living joy.
