I'm in an international marriage but would not recommend anyone else to go into one. My husband and I are fine together, but I will admit it has not been easy adjusting to a different country, language and culture isolated from old friends and family. There will be misunderstandings and judgement from your in laws even if they are the nicest people. Worse case scenario it can make divorce and custody battles more difficult.
