CHiPs, Chris Pine, Robert Pine

So a few days ago I posted my first CHiPs fic...Jon/Ponch of course.  ^^;  And I've gotten two comments which is more than I expected because there is so little fanfic for the show and the fanbase seems so tiny.

Anyway, one of my commenters said this:

See their sergeant?

That's where Chris Pine gets his good looks.

Of course I had no idea who Chris Pine was...don't look at me like that I watch more shows than movies (I mean I only started watching the marvel movies this year...and I haven't seen the Star Trek reboot...and I was always more of a Deep Space 9 fan...).

But yeah.  After looking up Chris Pine I gotta say he does look a lot like his dad, Robert Pine, who played Joe Getraer on CHiPs.

You know its canon that Mark Sloan worked at Community General as far back as the 60s.

And now I'm watching these shows that took place in LA in the 70s.  (Starsky and Hutch, CHiPs, Emergency!)

You see where I'm going with this?  All kinds of crossover potential! \o/
