International Tea Day  

To mark the importance of the day, students of Grade V prepared tea at home in 30 seconds. They also discussed the various benefits of tea. Students of Grade IV actively participated in the class discussion and came to know the hard work and labor that goes behind growing tea and the benefits of tea. Students also came up with short advertisement of 30 seconds. The students of Grade II enjoyed sharing their knowledge on different flavours of tea. They also did an activity on “Sequencing the Recipe of tea’’.

Students of Grade II were engaged in the practice of news reading. News updates were shared with them.

DEAR Period

During the class assembly, a parent of one of the students from Grades II, III and IV was invited to the class where they shared a story related to the proverb ‘Actions speak louder than words’ in the DEAR period.  

The students of Grade V attended a session by the parents who shared the story of Rosa Park - the mother of civil rights movement and how she struggled to fight for equality against racial discrimination.  It really inspired the students and helped them understand how to face challenges.

Math Activity on Grouping of Numbers  

Students got a hands-on-experience with the concept of grouping of numbers while they engaged in Grouping of Seeds activity.

Know My Family

During this activity, a parent/ family member of one of the students from Grades I, II, III, IV and V shared their talents, hobbies, profession and journey of his/her experiences in life. Parent/ family member shared their experiences with the online classes and engaged in casual conversation with children on general topics.

Chow Meow  

Eating together gives young children the chance to learn more words and communicate better. It allows them to bond over food, contributing to their physical, mental and social well-being. The students of Grades I, II and III participated in the Chow Meow session and had breakfast with their class teacher.

Jokes and Riddles  

Jokes and riddles bring in joy to learning. During this activity, students of Grade I, II, III, IV and V enjoyed guessing solutions to riddles.

Terrific Thursday – Favorite Edu Sports Activity

Students of Grade I talked about their favorite Edu Sports activity and how it helps to stay fit and healthy. Students of Grade II displayed Edu Sport Activity they learnt in the class.
