WALL·E and Dr Jackson Clarke Rockwell

WALL·E is the well known and loved robot from the Pixar movie sharing the same name. He is a waste allocation load lifter, earth class - leaving him to essentially collect and compact rubbish on a now abandoned earth. Both WALL·E and Jackson share a need to break from the expectations put on them, while WALL·E often keeps the rubbish he is ordered to compact, Jackson cannot stop himself painting despite repeated efforts by his father to burn the desire out of him.
They both share a love for the ordinary, able to find amazement and wonder in the smallest things. While Jackson is able to stare at ducks for hours, so too is WALL·E able to find wonderment among the mundane garbage he collects. This in turn drives their need for adventure, and uncanny ability to explore the world in ways unexpected.
The two characters also possess hearts of gold, and their earnest nature is a draw to the people around them. While WALL·E is able to change the life of inhabitants of Axiom and EVE, Jackson often touches the people around them, his patient manner and honest is known to change the mind and mood of the people he meets.
At their core, both Jackson and WALL·E are honest, striving characters, whose ability to touch the people around them is unshakably intertwined with their love for the world around them.
