On Vacation closed RP with chivalrousindignation

This was probably the first time he ever travelled as a vacation rather than because of skating. Yuuri was looking forward to travel to Rome, especially since he haven’t had the chance to travel to Europe as much as he wished to. It was a long flight, but he was used to it by now, and when he arrived he settled in the hotel he was lodging and slept ( because it was evening when he arrived).

The next morning he had breakfast, and started his tour. He visited the most popular sight-seeings; such as the colloseum and then the forums. However it was already noon when he got out of his first visit, and decided to find somewhere to eat lunch. He walked a little bit long way when he realized that he couldn’t recognise the road. Yuuri turned his head around looking for a signpost, but to no avail, he takes out his map and tries to retrace the steps, while trying to keep calm and supress the dreading thought;

I am lost and alone.

☆ ┇      guanghong quite enjoyed being back in america. he would always visit at least once a year, both to practice and for sightseeing purposes. it seemed this country had endless experiences to offer and guanghong didn’t ever tire of what he could see here. still, there were so many states he had yet to visit, attractions he had yet to take endless pictures of to those back home. 

but sightseeing would have to wait for now, as guanghong has other matters to tend to-- an ice-skating event. still being in the junior circuit, he wasn’t going to perform there, but he was still eager to see who would be. he already knew the names of course, having done his thorough research beforehand, but getting to see the skaters up-close would be far more exciting than staring at names on a screen. 

being a professional figure skater does luckily have its own perks even when he’s not participating in the event-- like getting good seats and being allowed behind the scenes. it’s all for the sake of learning of course-- his seniors use a lot of techniques he still had yet to properly understand-- but he can’t help but snoop around a little as well. curiosity getting the best of him, he stands up from his seat to walk into the hallway again, knowing that there’s still quite sometime until warm-up starts.

but of course, with his luck and awkwardness, it was inevitable that something would go wrong-- as soon as he turns the corner, he crashes into something, or rather, someone. someone much taller than him, forcing his gaze so far, up his head has to tilt back slightly to meet the gaze of the person.

eyes wide with something akin to fear and embarrassment, guanghong immediately attempts to stutter out an apology, “ i’m so sorry-- i wasn’t looking and i didn’t mean to-- run into you! ”
