I get why Ayato/Chiori took off last patch: yes queen, peg the smirk off that man's face! (It won't work, the smirk is glued on, but at least you can get noises out of him.) But I'm really hoping 4.5 gives enough material to make Ayaka/Chiori friends-to-distant-acquaintances-to-lovers start trending, because it's so yuri. As a concept.

Day 18: Chiyuri Kitashirakawa
Yumemi Okazaki and Chiyuri:
Yumemi Okazaki is a scientist from the future who is the main villain and final boss of Touhou 3: Phantasmagoria of Dimensional Dream. She firmly believes magic is real, and has been the laughing stock of her scientific community for it. Eventually she travels back in time and goes to Gensokyo in her Space Time Probability Hypervessel, which looks like a giant metal pyramid. She claims that one person can go in and get any wish they want granted, but this is a ruse to kidnap the person and take them away to the future. Of course, the protagonists defeat her instead, and she ends up having to actually give them something they want. For example, she gives Reimu a nuclear-powered robot maid named Ruukoto, and she gives Marisa Mimi-chan: the talking smiling intercontinental ballistic missile! She goes back to the future, empty-handed.
She also has a right-hand girl, Chiyuri, who the protagonist has to fight before Yumemi. She constantly abuses Chiyuri, only for the sailor to have the last laugh and hit her over the head with a folding chair.
Yumemi fights using a number of giant red laser crosses with pentagrams in the center.
Given the ambiguity of the connection between PC-98 and Windows Touhou, it's unknown if Yumemi's future is the same as Merry and Renko's, or perhaps long afterwards.
