These actors deserve this. For their art and hardwork , for their talent and the memories they gifted to us over our childhood, these artists deserve to act in movies like Ponniyin Selvan , and we , south , as an idustry are FINALLY capable of giving it to them and it's so overwhelmingly heartwearming 😭🥺

Do you have any idea how i look at the beautiful man that is Lal and hurt over his ashy makeup in some movies ? He is a handsome handsome man and his dark complexion has been brought to screen with the beauty and respect it deserved only a handful of times.
And A R Rahman composing for a historical drama , in Tamil. If you don't go nuts every time you hear "Ponni nadhi pakkanume" and sing along , or marvel at how perfect Ratchasa maamane is to show to your niece , then idek what to tell you. 🥲
