Imagine in season 2, they continue some stories from the shorts like Sonnie's Edge as it focuses on Sonny coaching an up and coming beastie fighter who turns out to be her daughter alongside her brother. Cue Sonny freaking out over this knowing she might be a horrible mom.

HONESTLY— I love the idea of them continuing story lines in the second season, because I did not get enough of Sonnie or that entire universe. I want to know more about her friends and how they were able to save her consciousness and the technology behind that, as well as how Sonnie got/found Khanivore. I want to know more about the “beasties” and how they live in this universe.

The thought of the continuation where it’s set in the future years after Sonnie has retired with Khanivore and training other beastie fighters is such a beautiful thought. Then to also find out said fighters are children she never wanted, born from such a traumatic experience for her. God that’d hurt. I don’t know how she’d react. What a continuation that’d be.

I can see Coran being Indian, like something around south asia like Bihari or chhetri but I’d def have to do more reading to have a more accurate idea

Coran is DEFINITELY coded as not white so casting him as a white actor is like???????? dumb tbhand the actor for lance is mexican not cuban and is pale afway more pale than lance actually is and I’m honestly just sick of seeing that happen. stop making poc paler like this is ridiculous.
