it really is insane seeing Perón referred to as a dictator in English as a neutral fact. Like opinions on him aside there have been five (5) different coup d'etats in Argentina during the 20th century and not only did Perón not become president due to any of those but he was the one removed from power in one of them. Plus another coup attempt to remove him that wasn't successful and killed around 300 civilians. The people voted for him and elected him president on three different occasions. This is all Argentinian History 101. I know I should get used to it but it keeps shocking me how people will call any Latin American president or leader a dictator except for the ones that actually are. The last Argentinian military dictatorship, which forcibly disappeared 30.000 people, is still commonly referred to as the Dirty War in English. It's insane.
