THE SHARP BOYS
they were always hanging out in the basement tuning their guitars a whole 'be yourself, do what you want' kind of thing once in a while a quiet awkward red haired boy showed up the shooter
months later in a NYC flat sudden chaos sounds of something like coconuts falling on a tile floor the girl tried hiding in the bathtub one of the boys made it out the door and up to the rooftop the other fell between the bed and the wall two shots and he was dead two more and so was the girl in the tub clutching the shower curtain like a scene out of Psycho when the police arrived they heard a single shot the shooter was dead when they asked the boy on the roof "what happened here?" he answered through his tears, "he just kept yelling 'this is my task' 'this is my task'"

he was my favorite quirky friend who gave me too many reasons to call in sick he wore a soft guitar case slung over his shoulder for a back pack and combat boots that would rattle the walls he hadn't watched tv since 1981 and would spend days at a time in his sparsely furnished room then out of nowhere he would show up at my door trippin' on acid laughing his ass off he'd shaved off his eyebrows saying his cat had died and this was an Egyptian tradition to honor the poor dead beast we were the best of friends for three short years, a long time ago and now I'm not even sure we would be friends at all.

Since I'm making the artwork for the whole album I'm hoping that I can have some sort of coherence between each song image and the main image for the album.
