modern day au narenthar and jadearra meeting in college after taking a class together, getting along, eventually moving into an apartment together because fuq dorms

modern day au chloenaru calling jade on the phone from the college she's going to "jade, jade, omigod jade i ... i've got a date with this girl"

modern day au where romances are flipped around but everyones still as happy as they'd be in modern day au where theyre the same as they are rn chloe and awheri would do girly things together i think not that naren wouldn't and that jade wouldn't but moreso because they seem more the type to go out and go dress shopping or something

whereas naren and jade dates would be"lets go see the new expendables movie" "oh oh did u see the previews for fury lets go see that" and arcade dates

modern au naren and jadearra living on opposite sides of campus during their freshman year and meeting in of all places an english class modern au naren and jadearra being partnered up to work on a project then after the project is over exchanging skypes and spending the evenings talking over skype (whether voice chat or typing) while studying individually eventually one of them brings up "hey why dont we get together and study together instead"

imagine them hanging out so much n getting along so well that eventually one of their mutual friends is like "so are you two dating or somethin now" n they both get embarrassed and stammer out a no "then why dont you two just date youre perfect"

Chloe: would give him a hug and ask him nicely to let her see them and ask what happened, giving him smooches and reassuring him as she looked his wounds over. Jade: would be more "NARNENTHAR YOU ARE HURTED! DO I NEED TO BE OF KILLINK MANY ORCS?" then she would give him a hug, trying not to hurt him anymore cause she does huge powerful bone crunching hugs. then would wait for him to answer and would do the same for him as he did when she hurt her hands.

high school cycling au feat. Narenthar, Jadearra, Chloenaru, and Awheri

High school standing:

Jadearra is a high school senior, the only senior of the four. Chloenaru, Narenthar, and Awheri are both high school juniors.

Jadearra has straight high A's, and is studying AP mathematics and AP physics in particular. She plans to go into a well known college after graduation and pursue engineering. She takes theatre with Chloe every semester. She's also valedictorian of her class and well liked.

Narenthar has A's and B's, and is studying physical education. His extracurricular classes are all phys ed. He takes home economics with Awheri every semester. When he graduates, he wants to go into physical therapy. He's popular and when not in the cycling club, he helps out various sports clubs. He's involved with the community with Awheri on weekends.

Chloenaru has straight A's and takes a mix of physical education, English, and History classes. She takes Theater every semester and is in various school productions. After graduation, she plans to pursue an English degree, perhaps going into entertainment. She works at a local bookstore on the weekends.

Awheri has A's and B's, and enjoys studying English, specifically AP and poetry. She is also in an AP Bio class. She takes home economics, as well as an art class. She hopes to study nutrition and botany when she graduates. She's involved with the community with Narenthar on weekends.

Club Role:

Awheri would be their manager, Naren would have the power of the group, Chloe would be a sprinter, Jade would be club captain + bike mechanic.

Jadearra being captain and mechanic means she tailors each bike for each person specifically, right down to how many gears they need, the metals used, heavier bike for Naren and lighter for Chloe, etc. She cares deeply for ensuring her team has what they need. She helps Naren in training new recruits to help them adapt to their bike. She adjusts for each person as needed, listens to their needs, and works with them to help them get the best performance on their bicycle.

Narenthar is in charge of pre-stretching, leading exercises, and training new and advanced racers. He takes into consideration each person's strengths and weaknesses and works to help them individually. He cares deeply for ensuring his team gets the individvualized help they need in order to work out and improve. He also helps Jade in mechanics, working as an assistant to her.

Chloenaru is involved in club morale and strives to meet the needs of her team. She works on an individualized basis with others to ensure they are comfortable, improving, and meeting their needs. Above all, she strives for confidence boosts and personal satisfaction. She is also involved in extra team events with the help of Awheri. She's involved in recruitment.

Awheri as the manager is involved in scheduling tournaments, practices, meetings, and races, as well as ensuring her team gets the nutrition they need. She takes care of the treasury funds and makes sure enough goes into healthy snacks and water, as well as bike repair. She works with Chloenaru in planning events.

Ability:

Naren is most definitely the power of the group, with Jade being a close second--she's fit and lean and all muscle where as Naren is broad and large and all muscle. Chloe is similar to Jade, but more streamlined, making her great at quickness. Awheri's heavier and not as physically strong, but it goes to her legs/thighs, and can do flats and distance over time with ease.

Strengths/Weaknesses:

Naren is good at endurance, climbing, and long distance cycling. His strong suit is curved races that go up and down, requiring power between breaks. He can keep endurance then build it back quick. He isn't good at straight routes because he needs to build and drop, build and drop power.

Jadearra's good at endurance and sprinting. She's similar to Naren but is more suited to straight on endurance, might have trouble picking her strength back up after it's lost. She might not be good at endurance climbing because of this.

Chloe's good at flats and sprinting. She gets a rush out of descent cycling, as well. She is better at shorter races requiring fast sprints on straight routes. Her strength lies in head-on fastness, but she can't do endurance or climbing as she does quick bursts of power.

Awheri is best suited to flats and descents. Her strengths are gentle curves and long distance requiring pacing herself, not going too fast. She's not good at races requiring her to put a lot of strength and power fast. Her strength is the gentle constant, not variations in power.

Relation to teammates:

Jadearra is always giving speeches to the team as a whole in order to raise their spirits and keep confidence. She's on point with keeping the team caught up on events, plans, and races. Her ADHD often distracts her but she's generally well liked by the whole group and is considered to be down to earth, positive, and bright. She regards the group as her friends and would do anything for any one of them. She's seen as a protective leader who cares deeply.

Narenthar is more of an "older brother" or "father" figure, depending on the person. He is constant in telling the group how proud he is of them and strives to get to know everyone on a personal basis. He's always giving thumbs up's to people and puts his team first. He's generally well liked as a whole, and his teammates respect him. He has asthma and understands that health needs can override cycling needs, so he reaffirms to his team that working within your limits is what's important.

Chloenaru appears hot headed and fiery, and her boldness might be offputting to people who aren't used to her. Nonetheless, she's well liked and the fact that she cares so much about team and individual morale helps reaffirm to her teammates that she is their friend and cares, and that the group as a whole is a family. She's regarded as a "sister" to the team. When someone is injured, she's usually the first on it with bandages, ice, peroxide, etc.

Awheri is seen as cheerful and bubbly, and her teammates see her as someone they can come to anytime they need something. She's fun and quiet, and the team establishes a close friendship with her in particular. She puts her team first and foremost and does the best she can. Like Narenthar, she reaffirms that their health is the most important thing, as she has battles with depression, anxiety, and unwanted thoughts. It's not uncommon for her to sit down with individuals and help them, get them into school counselling, etc.

so anyway earlier i thought of a thing

narenthar and chloenaru standing on a beach, looking out over the waves. kind of a sad expression on each of their faces. it's dark.

the camera is panning between them not showing them toegether. it pans to chloe's face, and it's light on her face, kind of sunset-like colors.

a song starts to play, and you slowly hear "somewhere...." it zooms out and shows chloe by herself, looking out over stormwind harbor

"beyond the sea..... somewhere...." it zooms out and shows narenthar standing in shadowmoon valley, looking out over the ocean

Oh no I wrote a fluff. This is based on pyxuspie's wonderful little prompt here. This was so much fun to write.

Narenthar pulled Chloenaru to the side and smiled at her. He wasn't sure what he'd wanted to get her but he finally decided on a small box of chocolates. He'd never truly done this "Week of Love" he'd heard a human talk about. He wasn't from Azeroth--Draenor didn't have this holiday.

She smiled at him and asked what he needed; it was unusual for him to pull her away from work, even during the middle of the day.

He brought his hand to his hair and moved the cloudy puff through his fingers. He grew embarrassed, instantly regretting having opened the box and tasting one chocolate.

Or four.

Meanwhile, Awheri strolled into Jadearra's workshop in the garrison and smiled broadly at her. She pulled a wrapped box from behind her back and grinned as Jadearra ooooh'd at it in excitement.

"Iz zhat for me?" she asked her. Awheri nodded and handed it to her, replying that she was sure it was something Jade would like, Luros himself helped make it.

Jadearra ran over to her workbench and plopped down on the stool. She quickly tore into the paper and found a small box. She opened it, finding a brand new gnomish army knife, complete with little pop up laser pointer, swivel swovel, and springdriver. It was hand painted with cute little comical-style versions of her ghouls, Jadearra with goggles and oil smudges on her cheeks in the middle of them.

Awheri listened to the squealing before being wrapped in an organ-rupturing hug, laughing as Jade thanked her repeatedly.

1. Do you remember the episode/scene/chapter that you first started shipping 5? Heck. It had to do with a lot of self discovery, more than anything in SNK. I wrote a personal fic with some somewhat self-insert stuff involving Reiner (not an OC/me self insert, but projecting a lot of my own mental ilness onto Reiner), and I'd say that's around the time that I started shipping these two as more than "friends."

2. Have you even read fanfiction about 2? Heh, actually, yes! Jade often writes stuff about them, and I myself do! I like re-reading what we write outside of RP.

3. Has a picture of 4 been your screen saver/profile picture/tumblr ID? One time Madarame was but never them together.

4. If 3 were to suddenly break up today what would your reaction be? Considering they aren't necessarily dating even in my own OTP sense, I'd be okay with it. They're both smart and adults, and their dynamic as friends is something I could see persisting outside of a relationship.

5. Why is 1 so important? My beautiful polyromantic babies, send help. Narenthar's happiness is something very important to me. His friendship with Andren is something important to me, and their acceptance of Chloe is something that is helping Narenthar heal.

6. Is 4 funny or serious ship? Madarame and Saki are one of those things that I fall back on and cry about. This has been a serious ship for ... going on 7 or so years now.

7. Out of all the ships listed which ship has the most chemistry? This is such a hard question. I can't answer that without saying "well actually....." after explaining something. They all five have a really powerful dynamic both outside of romance and outside of a relationship.

8. Out of all the ships which ship has the strongest bond? In my opinion, I would put it as Jadearra and Awheri. They are, through thick and thin, my most powerful OC relationship I've made, and much moreso than any of my OTPs in any series I have not created. Me and Jade put a lot of effort into these two.

9. How many times have you read/watched 2’s fandom? Why must you ask me this as if I'm obsessive about my lesbian goats..... (I am, I love them so much)

10. How many times, if ever, has 5 broken up? In my own headcanon, I could see them (Reiner and Bertl) fluctuating based on their goals. It'd never be one of those "We're mad and hate each other" kind of breakups, but more so "This could happen," "we're about to do this" kind of thing, where they'd talk it out and weigh the options.

11. If the world was suddenly thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would make it out alive, 1 or 3? laughs probably Naren, Chloe, and Andren. Two warriors + a paladin? Yeah.

12. Did 4 have to hide their relationship for any reason? If Saki and Madarame were to date, I think they'd start out keeping it to themselves. They'd be quiet about it to kind of get a feel for what it's like.

13. Is 5 still together? I haven't read SNK in forever :o What's even goin on there anymore?

14. Is 1 canon? HE'LL YEP THEY ARE. Luv my powerful poly goats.

15. If all five ships were put into a couple’s Hunger Games, which couple would win? I'd argue between Awheri and Jadearra, and Reiner and Bertl. Simply because of their abilities.

16. Has anyone ever tried to sabotage 5’s ship? *looks out window* is anything even sacred in snk

17. Which ships would you defend to death and beyond? *looks out opposing window* as if i could choose

18. Have you ever spent hours a day going through 3’s tumblr page? *stares out the window behind me* reinerbertl 4 lyfe (i'm also a frequent visitor of the death parade general tag, if by frequent visitor you mean i never leave)

If an evil witch descended from the sky and told you that you had to pick one of the five ships to break up forever, which ship would you sink? why would you make me do this I'd break up Andren from the triad. In canon, he's the most likely to leave and stay behind on New Draenor if it called for them to return to Primeline Draenor.

Me and cutiecommando played our first game of jed'hin tonight with Chloe and Naren and I wanted to save it! If anyone reads it I hope you enjoy it too!

Narenthar walked out of the forge station and down the path in the garrison. He came upon the gardens and looked around before spotting a familiar face. "Ah, Chloe!" He trotted over to her and waved, hoping she'd look up.

Chloe smiled turning from the crate she was inspecting to meet him. She waved before responding, "Hello Naren, I vas busy vith Andren brinkink back supplies, how did everyzhink go today?

He came to a slow stop and smiled at her, grateful to see her. "It vent vell. Nobody hated me, zho zhat vaz good!" He smiled again and stood up straight. "And, I zhink your leader likez me vell enough, az vell. You did neglect to tell me zhat ve vere doink laboriouz tazkz, today."

"I vas told zhat ve vould be partyink actually....Jadearra vanted to trick me didnt she." She sighed and rubbed her head."I am glad it vent vell. Luros is a good man. I hope vork vasn't too bad. Andren and I had to carry all of zhese crates from zhe boat dock to here by hand."

"Ah gosh, I am zhorry. Ve almozt voted to do zhat, but ve ended up cleanink zhe barn inztead." He shuffled on his hooves and walked closer to her. "Vhere iz Andren?"

"He vent to go get a late bite to eat zhen go and help Jadearra vork on some project." She laughed. "I can only imagine."

"Ah, drat, I juzt mizzed him. I vaz goink to help her vizh zhe ziege tank, but left." He laughed and gently socked her against the shoulder. "Your leader alzo zhowed interezt in playink jed'hin zometime vizh me."

"Oh? Zhat is right he did play back in zhe day. I bet he could show you a zhink or two." She smirked at him. "Zhough youd need alot fo showink to beat me"

Narenthar smirked at her back. "You're all talk, I azhume. Braggerz never vin."

"Vant to bet on zhat?" She grinned and flexed.

He laughed and pulled her to him, grinning down at her. His face was close to hers. "I don't bet, but I do take on a challenge."

She kissed him quickly and pulled back. "You are on zhen. Shall ve tussle in zhe pet battle rink zhat zhe troops have set up?"

His cheeks warmed when he felt her kiss, but he grinned nonetheless. "Vhy not, I could uze a warmup."

She nodded and lead him behind the barn to the rig. it was a dirt ring with stones denoting the boundaries. "So standard rules?" she said as she removed her armor stripping down to just her under shirt and shorts.

He grinned and helped her. He sat her armor down on the grass and nodded. "Ztandard rulez, no cheap zhotz. Play fair." He began unbuttoning his shirt and pulled his flannel off. He folded it and sat it on top of Chloe's armor.

She nodded and stepped into the ring as she stretched slowly. She then would bow infront of him. "I hope you are ready."

Narenthar stretched and then gave her a bow. "Ready."

Chloe charged forward her head down as she prepared to but her forehead into his crest. Her hands shot our to his sides to try and grapple him.

Narenthar tried to steel himself to the ground but fell when Chloe grappled him. He stumbled and barely caught himself AND her as he fell, landing on one knee. He smirked at her and helped them both stand. "Not bad, you got me."

She grinned and kissed his nose. "Oh I am just gettink started." She let him stand back up and moved to her side of the ring. "You verent ready so I'll let you have a second chance

He laughed and steeled himself to the ground and grinned at her. "Zhen zhow me vhat you've got!"

She nodded then rushed him quickly. She performed a sweeping kick hoping to knock him to the ground then she would pin him with her knees.

Narenthar rushed forward himself and was taken aback by the kick she sent his way. He tripped into her and bapped her on the nose. "Ey, no cheap zhotz!"

She laughed. "I am sorry, zhe rules must have changed from vhen I vas playink it. Again different timelines." She lets him up and walks back to her corner. "Zhat one doesn't have to count."

He waves his hand at her and grins. "Nah, it can count." He kisses her forehead before they go back to their spots. "Zhall ve zhen?"

She nodded and smirked. "Yes lets."

"I am juzt gettink ztarted myzelf." He grinned and charged forward, letting out a playful roar. He grabs her by the waist and pushes his weight against her as he lunges.

She grins and grunts ad is over powered she stumbles under his wieght and tries to wiggle free by twisting her body out from his grasp

Narenthar laughs and pushes her down into the dirt, falling overtop of her. He grins at her. "Zhat makez a double vin for me."

She grunts. "Yes, but can you handle ZHE HURRICANE!" She wiggled underneath him as she worked to plant her hooves pushing with all her might as she tried to lift him up and toss him.

Narenthar laughs and pushes her shoulders down against the dirt. He smirks down at her. "Zhe hurricane iz zurprizingly veak." He smirks again and kisses her gently before standing up. He offers her his hand. "Next round?"

She stands and huff at him but retains her smirk. she is having alot of fun. She nods and plants her hooves as she leans forward slightly"Better be ready!"

"-You- better be!" He grinned and rushed her, throwing his shoulders against hers as he knocked her back.

She yelped as she was knocked back falling onto her back. She kicked up to get back onto her back as she lined up her shoudlers to ram him.

She charged him and hit him hard knocking him back as she wrapped her arms around him to sling him.

Narenthar let out a small yelp as his weight was tossed. He fell with a hard thud to the dirt as Chloe landed on top of him. He stared up at her and blinked. "Dang, nice." He smiled at her.

She nodded and let him up and took her place at her side once more. "Vatch me do it again." She grinned as she planted her hooves firmly.

He laughed and stood up, taking a moment to breathe. "You are on."

He hopped once and rushed her, butting his crest against her horns as he threw a shoulder against hers. He was beginning to feel tired as he knocked them both into the dirt. He landed beside her in the dirt and laughed. "Zhat vaz fun. Vhat vaz zhat, five for me? Vhat about all zhat big talk?"

She fell with a huff and scowled at him. The ol grumpy Chloe nickname Jade said earlier coming through nicely. She then smiled and laughed. "Vell I guess I am jsut full of shit zhen huh?"

He grinned and placed a kiss on her forehead, his fingers running over her arm. "It vaz fun, zhank you. It vaz an honor."
