I've just finished episode 64 of CHnT.

As a "Rowan is my favourite character" and "Juniper×Rowan is my favourite ship" person, I don't think I'm ok.

Tomorrow I have classes to attend. I will sleep 5 hours. I don't know how I'm going to make it. Wish me good luck

I keep thinking about episode 64.

This is what I did today instead of studying physics:

I think this episode is going to become my favorite of the whole series. The rawness and emotion performed by Corey Wilder left me captivated the whole episode. I legit stopped doing my study guides and just stared at the wall listening through the whole thing.

I kept thinking back to how his journey through the tunnels reflects a journey of mental health treatment (at least from the perspective of a BSW student). When you are in the thick of it sometimes it feels better to stay in that same routine over and over because at least it's not getting worse. You make changes and you are left worse than where you originally were. Sometimes you're in the think of it for so long that it becomes its own joy (and that's ok, as long as you're keeping yourself and others safe). Sometimes making the choice to pull yourself out of the trenches is an ugly process that you have to fight tooth and nail for every victory and millimeter of progress. Sometimes that work brings you wrecked into the sun and sometimes that work blows up in your face deeper in the trenches. I am glad Rowan one this battle and got himself out of the literal trenches to not face the storm alone.

Ohhhh woahhh woahhh it’s only an omen anyway weekly camp here & there reaction from yours truly. Spoilers for CHNT ep 64 under the cut plus some rambling ig.

Auhmmm uh uhem…. I fell asleep halfway through the episode. Actually listened to the whole episode in the morning! Also I can somewhat understand the meanings behind Venetian Blind Man, now that in the last few episodes Rowan’s character has been fleshed out more! Also very interesting how he (presumably) went blind (??? Might’ve misunderstood smth) which will impact the whole thing with seeing the end of the world by looking up. Also the ominous wind from last episode is a suspiciously spooky weather phenomenon that can be tied to storms! As someone who has experienced a hurricane (and tropical depressions), wind is a very telltale sign a storm is going to come, foreshadowing much?

Hmm I don’t know how to keep doing these because my chnt posts get decent attention so I assume people like them!! I do want to actually give my analysis on episodes from a serious perspective rather than “ouhhhh omg I’m so emotionally moved and scared what the hell what the hell???”. Is that reasonable, fair, understandable? Camp Here and There is a really great piece of media and I love it very dearly, it’s only fair to show my respect through… seriousness??? Right???
