I think my favorite house MD fandom joke is when people type out Chases dialogue in the most horrible phonetic australian accent possible. Example:

I just keep thinking about how hard Lumon is going in on Dylan right now. Secret bribes and meetings with his family, aggressively rewarding his compliance with crumbs of the freedom he craves. Alienating him from the people he cares about the most.
Its so notable to me that in the propaganda claymation, they refuse to acknowledge Dylans heroics in any way, shape, or form. Sure, there are little posters trivilaizing the way he held the OCP switches, but in the film? He is this bumbling comedic relief background thought. They are just really aggressively trying to affirm to him that he is *not* important. This is because he *is* arguably the most important (IN MY OPINION).
I think what makes Dylan such a threat to Lumon is his conviction mixed with his self sacrifice. Plenty of people can really *want* a change to happen, but without someone like Dylan who is willing to put himself at risk with no reward (not see his family and trigger the OCP so everyone else has a chance FIRST) then nothing can happen!!! He is an essential catalyst for revolution!!
Yknow what i love about House MD? Like truly love?
Its all about the good, bad, and ugly of human nature. Like, no character is without their flaws, like any regular person!!
I feel like ,especially nowadays, people are really fixated on being a ‘good person’. But House MD really makes you ask: What is a good person?
Someone who saves your life? Someone who honors your wishes? Someone who is kind to you? Someone who is honest with you? All of these things tend to contradict each other and blur. Characters often prove themselves hypocrites or selfish in the pursuit of their ideals.
Every character has been ‘wrong’ in their own ways in their own situations. Not because theyre evil, but because they are a messy, complicated, and normal-ass human people.
And i love that. Characters i hate to love and love to hate.
This is why i really cant bring myself to hate any character in that show hahaha. Like yeah sure, they did [insert some unforgivable situation] which they were totally wrong to do, but like, everyone fucks up. I fuck up. You fuck up. Just makes them more human and compelling in my eyes.

Okay so this year ive been struggling a bit with my mental health, two months ago i lost my job in a mass lay off, then a friend passed away a month ago and i have just been TRYING to get it together right?
Im lucky enough to qualify for unemployment and ive been job searching diligently every week, applying to jobs i hope to get. Every single job either doesn’t reach back out or rejects me. Finally this week one reaches back out and in about 30 minutes i have a phone interview.
Im not sure why im saying all of this im just hoping this is the turn of the tide yknow?? Manifesting that even if i dont get this job, this is the start of the year getting better!! GHHUUUHH im so nervous!!!

Off topic from my stomach ache, i finally articulated why i enjoy Chases character so much.
There is a lot that much more articulate and intelligent people can say about his apathy and intelligence but what i find soooo fun about chase is he simply must embarrass himself.
From trying to dom a patient (medically…??), to the worlds worst yo mama comeback, to the fucking doctor from down under tv appearance this guy just cant stop himself 😭😭😭
could you draw chase biting through his pen and having an unexpected ink catastrophe and a lesson on why pilot pens are the best to bite because they have hard plastic casings that you won't break through?
