Oh yeah? Like this anime is just another fujoshi bait that treats mlm couples as a fanservice-y fad. Viktor and Yuuri's relationship is too quick and there's no time, no work and no developing in this couple. Its popularity disgusts me. And before you call me homophobic: NO. I don't care if they are now canon. What really grinds my gears here is the scaringly fast pace of their relationship. Come at me, bro.
I mean, you’re entitled to your opinion, but I don’t really see where you’ve got the idea that their relationship is scarily fast paced. It’s taken over half a season for their relationship to become canon - in-universe, they’ve been working together for over a year, if I remember rightly. It’s not as if it’s happened within a few weeks. And you can clearly track how their attitudes change towards one another, with Yuuri steadily coming to see Viktor as an equal rather than an idol. Granted, there are quite a lot of fanservicey moments that do make me roll my eyes a bit, but they’re interspersed with sincere interactions too - interactions that form the core of their relationship and character development, and in no way exist just to titillate the viewers. So I can’t really understand why you think it’s just fanservice.
