I am busy working on the edits for Jabaar L. Brown's graphic novel because we are a team at Chocolate Nation Studios. And trying to keep moving forward after Chadwick's passing. Some of the artists and writers I know are having a hard time focusing on their work, but we will carry on like Mr. Boseman would want us too. I'm still grateful that I had a chance to talk to the man in person at San Diego Comic Con. To all who have been waiting on this project it nears completion for the 'Greenville Triangle' aka Black Wall Street. There will be a Kickstater Campaign starting on Aug 8th. This is one of the covers to the book. Illustration by Jonathan Piccini, Colors and Formatted by Blair Smith. Icon of the book done by Phoe-nix Nebula. Yes I know it's a hard reality that the organizers decided to cancel the 2020 event due to the concerns of Covid-19, but we have done this to protect the health of the amazing artists and the loyal attendees. So think of this as a one year vacation. We had an amazing year in 2019 with the first show and we plan to knock the doors down on Aug. 14, 2021. To celebrate Aug. 8, 2020 the original date of the 2020 event, the organizers will come together to do a Live Streaming Event to promote the Kickstarter Launch of The Greenville Triangle Vol. 1 'Novic'. More details to come but this will be an action adventure book that entails Black Wall Street but with a unique twist. Chocolate Nation Studio and Black Label ComiCon is here to change the playing field of the Comic Book and Sci-Fi Industry especially for the ethnically diverse communities that are under represented in mainstream media.
