sometimes I look at the devil and with the happy ending of cuphead and I'm like "why can not he also have a happy ending? why can not he be forgiven?" for me the devil deserves a happy ending type at least review god again and say he loves you even in his scary form (sorry, I'm very sentimental)

Because he’s a very stubborn and prideful sociopath. He puts himself first before everybody, and he rather hang on to his ego than rather admit his mistakes.There are people like this; normally some will change over time but there are those who just don’t want to change at all, which is one of the biggest downfall of a sociopathic individual. Heeeey glad you have fun and enjoy this little au and thanks ;)I haven’t thought of her being much involved with this au since she’s a human and Lucifer hates humans because they were praised and adored by God as his best creation. All they’re good for is to be used in his sick little games and that’s about it, if he had an equal it would be another ArchAngel (i.e Michael) or a somewhat powerful Demon.So far King Dice has survived the longest than any of his predecessors before him and that puts quite an impression on Devil/Lucifer.Although I do kinda have a concept that she was responsible for creating almost all of the mythic and legendary monsters, it’s pretty much based on the mother of monsters the Echidna. Here’s a short story I’ve made of her involvement on the downfall of humanity.Warning bad grammar and probably not 100% accurate. When he found out about the news of  Gods little pet project, it struck a cord to his ego. Lucifer didn’t like the birth of man, he sees himself as the perfect be all end all. And seeing these weak wingless creatures being adored by everyone in Heaven; including God himself, really drove him rage with jealousy.He was planning on how to get rid of both of the humans (Adam and Lilith at the time), without having himself get caught. But when Lilith self exile from Eden, that makes things easier for him, he now tries to think of a plan on how to get rid of Adam.

Eve was later created and the tree of knowledge was also planted in the garden, hearing about the rule about eating the forbidden fruit and the creation of Eve. Lucifer have seen an opening to the perfect plan on getting rid of both Adam and Eve all together. Angels have the ability to deliver messages or visions by either presenting themselves or through dreams.Lucifer didn’t want to get his hands dirty; so he manipulated Lilith to do his task,  Lilith was just fine being on Earth and away from Adam’s domineering, boorish attitude. Lucifer later planted dreams and thoughts into her head while she was asleep.He manipulated her dreams about how miserable Adam might be without her, or how sorry he felt for being nasty to her. Just to get her back into Heaven to see Adam with his new wife Eve.Raphael had his suspicion earlier on why Lucifer went missing but it was too late to stop Lilith.Raphael confronted Michael about this but without any evidence for him to back up his claim. Michael shut him down on this false accusation, Lucifer have got away with the perfect crime. This was also the beginning of Lucifers reign.
