Gon and Killua have never meet and Killua never ran away from home. Illumi has hired Gon as a new butler to keep an eye on Alluka and preform unknown “tests".
“Kill?” My mother beckoned from the the living room, “could you come here for a moment?” I sighed and looked at the sandwich in my hands before begrudgingly setting it down on a plate and strolling over to the next room. She sat in her favorite arm chair, gifted to her by my father. That thing had to be a fortune with all the gems on it. Kalluto is sitting on the floor beside her, as usual, her face expressionless as I approached.“Yes mother?” I asked politely and waited obediently for her instructions.“Would you mind checking on the new butler Illumi hired for…. you know..” She paused and a disgusted expression rose onto her face, “Him?”
The moment she said ‘him’ I could tell who she meant, Alluka. I stiffened and I clenched my fist. “Mother, Alluka's a girl, not a boy.” I said, holding her eyes with my ferocious ones. She visibly flinched before standing up from her seat. Kalluto’s young eyes narrowed in on me. “Kill,” her voice shook, “I said go check on him, now go.”I huffed but turned around and walked out the door, not really in the mood to start a fight. Before I left the room I heard my mother faintly say, “He’s growing up so nicely”, Before my thoughts overwhelmed me.When did Illumi hire a new butler? What kind of sick theory is he trying to test now? I questioned in my head till I got to the mountain where she lived.
As I reached the base of the mountain I saw Father was waiting for me. I could tell he was agitated to be here, no one in the family was relaxed when wondering near Alluka’s mountain, except for me of course. I walked in silence as he lectured me on the Alluka’s wishing rules. He seems to forget that I was the one to tell him these… The buzzing of Father punching in the pass codes to the many doors as we made our way deeper and deeper into the mountain ebbed away and a small voice inside me spat insults back at me. You haven’t been here in so long, I would be surprised if she doesn’t try to kill you. You left her in this mountain, locked away. How long has it been since she last saw sunlight do you think? Rude thoughts plagued me more with every step till we reached the final door.“Killua.” My Father’s voice echoed in the long passage, “don’t pay anything unreasonable if she asks you for something."I slowly nodded my head as the clock work door spun open. The metal barricade lifted and I walked in; with no turning back the door slammed shut yet again.
It took me a moment to adjust to the new, and very bright, amount of light that was in this small space. The walls were still the same mural that I remember when leaving her for the last time. Her bed still had its pink drapes, her walls still lined with stuffed animals.
I turned and kicked off my shoes and socks by the door. Might as well make my self comfortable, I have so much to talk to Alluka about.
I took a few more steps into the room when some sharp pain erupted from my foot. What is this? It’s so intense... Even in my training I have never experienced this kind of pain! What is this??? I collapsed to the ground, the pain over taking me as I laid down on the floor. My foot is on fire, emanating from the center of my right foot. Did my father set a trap for me, or Illumi?
“Oh goodness! Master Killua are you ok?” A sweet voice rang from the opposite end of the room. My eyes snapped open and glanced across the room. There was nothing but a black… suit jacket? When did the butler get here?“Oh sir I’m so so sorry!” That same voice said. I redirected my eyes and saw Illumi’s new test subject.
His hair was spiky with dark green tips, that it almost looked inhuman how high it stuck up on his head. His face was a the same way, inhuman, better described as angelic. His tanned skin accented his brown eyes in a way that words can’t describe. He shook my shoulders lightly before I focused on his words again.
“Master Killua?” His sweet voice rang in my ears. “Hm what?” I blinked a few times before staring into his maple eyes.“Your foot, is it still hurting?” Once the words left his lips I remembered the blistering pain in my foot. I guess a look of pain rose to my face so he darted down towards my feet. There was a soft giggle and he darted back up again, holding something in his clenched fist. He sat criss cross on the ground beside me before showing off the item.“All that assassin training and you couldn’t take the pain of stepping on a lego?” He smiled holding the little red lego out to me. I sat up slowly, taking the lego from his hand and chucking it at the wall behind me. “Tch. Stupid lego.” I grumbled as I placed my hands in my lap.
“So what’s y-“ “ONII_CHANNNNNNN!!!” Alluka screamed as she tackled me to the floor again.“Onii-chan I’ve missed you SOO much!!” She shrieked as I sat up, settling her head into my lap. I smile and started to stroke her hair, just like old times. She make a soft humming noise and shut her eyes, going silent after a minute or two. I hope she gets some rest.I glanced up through my eyelashes at the butler. “As I was saying, what’s your name?”
He jumped a little when I addressed him but quickly covered it with a smile. “My name is Gon sir, Gon Freecs!” He tilted his head to the side and gave me another wide grin. My heart skipped a beat and a thick blush caked my face. I stared into my lap, trying to prevent my blush showing as I extended my hand. “Call me Killua. Just Killua.”
There was a short silence before I felt a warm hand grip mine and a few shakes. I looked up slightly to see Gon smiling back. “It’s nice to meet you Killua!” He smirked back at me.
I have to get him out of here. Whatever Illumi is planning for Gon can’t be good. I need to get both to safety one way or another.
