Hinata swung the katana he had borrowed against the trunk of a tree. Despite the fact that he looked like nothing more than an ordinary boy in a school uniform, he held the sword with expert hands. This training exercise was normally meant to just practice the swings against the edge of a tree, but Hinata cleaved through the entire tree trunk in just one swing.
“How boring...” Because that person was the living embodiment of talent everything came easy to him now. He looked at the broken tree in front of him with utter disinterest. He had only borrowed this sword from a local shop owner in the first place because he wanted to feel closer to Pekoyama. She, like most of his friends from the island were still missing.
He turned back to see he was being watched by a silver haired stranger. Hinata raised his sword in the air. “Hey, you don’t need to stare like that! This isn’t even a real sword. It’s just for cosplay.” He said, because it was just a popular tv show characters replca sword it looked completely ridiculous with a pitch black blade, a bright red hilt, and a chain falling off the end. It was obviously meant to look cool rather than be practical. “Wait, why are you staring? Do I look lame doing this?”
