Why the need for an Estela-centric Endless Summer book guide
Truth is, I did not like Estela right away. I was initially a fan of Quinn. It was easy to build your friendship and romance points with her. Next to Diego, Quinn is known to be charismatic and kind thanks to her beauty. it was also easy to make out with her, especially in Book 1. However, her beauty is only skin-deep, and in time, her inner damsel in distress began to take over, starting when she revealed her illness and how she was taken over by the Island’s Heart. Estela had this inner beauty that started to slowly make me appreciate her, and in the course of the story, I already switched from Quinn to Estela as my primary love interest. Of course, Quinn is still a favorite of mine, which is why I also dated her in Book 2, but only as a secondary LI compared to Estela.
Of the four LI’s in Endless Summer, Estela is the most underappreciated compared to her fellow LI’s. She is very difficult to get along with, especially for those who don’t have any diamonds to spend. This guide adopts the ES Book guides from the Choices wiki, but will highlight only the choices where Estela’s relationship points with your MC are affected. This will be helpful for those who are fans of Estela, as well as those who want her to be their MC’s primary LI. I will highlight the choices which will greatly improve Estela’s relationship points the most with your MC. A single or slight mistake in choices will be enough to greatly diminish Estela’s appreciation of your character. i will also put the choices where Estela will react negatively, so be sure to take note and avoid choosing them. It is not easy to repair your damaged relationship status with her, so every relationship/romance point for her definitely counts, unlike Jake, Sean, or Quinn. I also skipped certain chapters because none of them involved Estela. In short, she is nearly zero-tolerance when it comes to difference of opinion, so try to appeal to her always, even at the cost of slightly lowering your relationship points with your other friends (such as Diego and Grace throughout Book 2) or LI’s (such as Sean and Quinn in Book 2, Chapter 11). Besides, there will be other opportunities throughout the series to improve your friendship/romance point status with Sean, Quinn, and Jake, but not for Estela.
You are definitely going to need some diamonds to spend if you want to fully appreciate her character. Otherwise, you should not expect her to like you until Book 2. You’ll take your relationship with her to the next level by dating her, and you’ll definitely want to score perfect with her to ensure a 100% Tough Choice success rate.
In Book 2, it is recommended that you import your choices from Book 1 before you start dating her. You will also need to date her first in order to start raising your Romance points with her. You’ll also want to save diamonds for the outfits and other premium choices relevant to her all over Book 2. The third book is upcoming, but I would prefer that Book 3 be completed first.
