his stage name is ‘ sook ’ which is just a very unoriginal nickname of shorting his name , the first thing he did with his idol paycheck was buy his parents a house since they lived in some ratty old sharehouse / apartment in an extremely bad neighborhood , and he owns the same car that chanyeol has rn –– mercedes benz g65 amg which is soooo sexy btw . he can’t still sing for shit but he can literally listen to other people sing to him for HOURSSSSS ( cough romeo cough ) , he’s a sweet baby boy and super vanilla on the outside but headcanoned nasty in bed , and rarely drinks because he could never ever ever hold his liquor in . his model group is day6 , fictionally named 214 from solaris entertainment ( a shitty ass company who’s MEAN to their idols a lot >:\ ) and they are newly debuted so they’re only considered rising stars up until now ! he became a trainee probably when he was about sixteen or seventeen years old because the only thing they really trained him was to rap because of his deep and husky voice and cute face , but he’s actually been playing bass since he was five –– his father used to be in some rock band that played at local bbq bars and shit ; soohyuk obviously still has a great relationship with his parents and is still a huge mama’s boy ‘til this day . he’s pansexual but he has a thing for soft people , personality over looks in his opinion especially if they’ve been friends since before all the fame . wants to get his groups logo tattooed on his forearm one day but needs someone to hold his hand while he does it because he will literally cry while getting his first tattoo . for someone as sweet as an angel , his idol image to be exact , he gets in trouble with the company a lot –– he sneaks out past curfew , runs away from his own managers after showcases , saying dumb shit on reality shows . his group members think he’s the most embarrassing member and it’s TRUE . doesn’t really like instagram or social media honestly . likes playing with peoples fingers when he’s holding their hands . definitely wanted to be a dragon and not an idol when he was three .

                 AND HE WATCHED HER MOVE AROUND IN HIS KITCHEN -- it wasn’t always that he let people into his house, let alone -- COOK in the kitchen he rarely used. He didn’t even know how to turn on the stove, so it was surprisingly nice when the smell of food began to linger around in the air. The TV was on, the latest cartoon was colourful and happy but Yoochan didn’t even pay attention, gaze was fixed on her movements, not her face -- but her hands, her fingers. He could hear her murmur to herself every now and then and -- suddenly, he realised that he had been STARING and his gaze wandered back to the Cartoon. ❝HURRY UP! I am hungry❞

“—nah, if you thought half as hard with your head as you did with your dick, juda – this shit wouldn’t even happen. zilch. nada. shit, we’d be in the hall of fame. who even put you in charge of getting us gigs, man. or driving the damn van.” there’s a wide grin on his face, all teeth – arms busy heavy lifting the drum set they’re putting away now that the night is over. they worked a new gig today, some fancy shit with low hanging lights and a stairway that led up to marble floors too pristinely clean to be dirtied by grime like them. juda, as evidently proven by oren’s insistent shit talking, had been too distracted by a pair of blondes they picked up tonight to park the van on the right side of the road -- - so oren’s trekking his shit across the road. it’s not a long enough haul for him to give a shit, but it is enough for him to rip into juda. ( anything is, given the opportunity. )

he gets in the rhythm of it, chimes in to shit on his bandmates some more every few seconds. there’s a brunet with dark eyes that he’s intent on setting to gleaming on him, who keeps tracing the birth umbers oren’s got etched with ink on the back of his left bicep. he’s all low words, voice that sounds like honey – and he gets bold enough to tug him down with a hold on oren’s necklace the next time he returns to the curbside, mauve lips brushing against the shell of his ear as he promises a good time. ( fuck yeah -- ) two hands grabbing two guitars already cased in the cheap plastic covers, oren’s speaking his brief farewell. “fuck yeah – wait for me, i’ll b--…” his words phase to the wind as his wandering gaze wanders like a magnet’s pull, landing behind where the darkness of the night breaks under the flood of the street lamp. there’s a tie in his throat at who he sees, something curling up his spine as his eyes land on the visage of mister big fucking boss man, or whatever – the unsettling feeling he can’t pin down being pushed away with his own insistence ( and the stirring interest of having his bed warm tonight. ) he clears his throat and all but whips his gaze away, walking backwards as he zeroes in on said brunet. “i’ll be back,” he finishes, slow, lazy grin lifting up his mouthends.

--he doesn’t even hear it.

what he does hear, is the shouts of someone who sounds suspiciously like juda, and the blaring horn of what sounds like a very angry and very close car. heart jumping to throat, he only has the time to whip his head around – facing the rearing four-wheeler headed his way. the last conscious reaction he has is to grip the guitars in his hand tighter by the neck, his mind intoning an oh so helpful – ah shit -- - ( @chokiiwas )

–– and i can’t help falling in love with you. the soft medley of elvis presley plays softly through the car’s speakers, blaring noisily as it rattles the whole exterior while joongki waits soundly in the driver’s seat; the red-headed male nestled on the ledge of the open window, forearm hanging out as chin rests against his elbow. it’s been nearly nine minutes since the other had gone inside the small town’s bank but nevertheless, he’s confident that he’ll be out soon –– they never make it past eleven minutes, it’s dangerous to linger around misery that long. though, his achingly bored features would never show it, teeth grind against the rough texture of the strawberry lollipop between his lips, nervous habit when he worries about his lover in the broad daylight so when ten minutes pass, joongki starts the car.

by twelve minutes, sanha’s still nowhere in sight and joongki has bitten down all the way to the stick. there’s a voice gnawing at the back of his mind, wanting to go in there and check on the other but it’s fruitless –– someone’s got to bail the other out if he gets caught anyway. joongki’s about to start going through the steps of plan h, mind going to worse on who he’s got to knife to find out what had happened to sanha in that bank when he hears a familiar voice down the street and sees a trail of red; as much as joongki would love to take care of his lover, berate him on what the hell took him so long and how the hell did he get caught ? fingers are already quickly working at the gear shifts and the car’s reversing to meet the other male half way, reaching over to kick open at the passenger’s seat door as wide eyes stare at the open space at sanha incredulously. ‘ get in ! ’

‘ YOU DON’T –– YOU DON’T GET IT ! ’ soohyuk’s sudden outburst shocks even himself, the loud boom of his words escapes his lips in frustration before he could hold them back and soohyuk could already tears form at the corner of his eyelids. he turns away because he refuses to see the look on the other’s face –– how shocked that romeo may be, how disappointed, how angry. it’s all because soohyuk’s stupid jealousy got in the way when he knows what he signed up for, he knows how they could never go public about being together and how he knows the company would never allow him to have a say on all those girls hanging off romeo’s arms. 

romeo might not care what anyone else says but soohyuk is tired.

‘ jinyu, i –– ’ soohyuk starts before pausing briefly, fists clenching to hide the quiet shaking that’s starting at his fingertips. he won’t cry because he doesn’t want the other to cry as well, but soohyuk is hurt and tired, and maybe it’s for the best.

‘ i love you, ’ the guitarist admits with a quiver of his lip. ‘ but it’s like everyone in the company is against us and i can’t –– this is your career on the line, i can’t ruin that for you. not this time. ’

                 AN ARGUMENT AND THEN THAT? he was glad that no one was here at this hour, it was just them, standing in his office, YELLING at each other about something unimportant. No sugar in his coffee this morning, necktie not tied the way he wanted it - the wrong suit brought to him after laundry and to be honest, lately … they got into fights more often over the most insignificant things. What was this? what was this between them? he got jealous when he saw her with other men when she talked about WHO she kissed and …- when he saw her invite other people into her house. The thought alone made his heart beat faster and anger boil in the pit of his stomach and now? now they stood there, close to each other - anger making their faces red and —

                 their lips met. Yoochan’s hands on her hips that pulled her CLOSER to him. Maybe this was what they needed to break the tension between them. A kiss. A kiss to show what they really FELT for each other. This was unlike any kiss he and Taera had shared before …. this felt right and good! This was perhaps … what he wanted all along. What THEY wanted?? Kissing was not something he was usually into but this time ... he felt like he couldn’t get enough of her lips against his. She tasted sweet! honey and strawberries and he never realised that she smelled like Vanilla until he was so close to her.

                 for a moment, their lips parted, Yoochan took in a single breath before their lips touched again, more passionate, a little DEEPER this time. It managed to send shivers down his spine, his hands still lingering on her hips, scared that she could just BACK AWAY and leave. He’s seen her kiss someone else before but he was sure that it wasn’t like this, so sweet and gentle -- yet passionate. 

                 her hands on his cheeks felt oddly right, oddly satisfying and Yoochan was sure that he never craved another persons touch as much as he craved hers now. However, even the best kiss had to end sooner or later and he pulled back. Their lips still close - he could still feel her BREATH on his skin, could still taste her tongue on his lips.
