Hey you seemed like the best person to ask. I’m looking to get into a new book series and a lot of people including yourself post stuff about the Maze Runner and I saw the book in a shop, and 3 of my favourite actors are in it (as far as I’m aware of), I was just wondering if you could like idk what’s it like I guess?^-^ cholah

IT'S GOOD. I mean I'm not a huge fan of dystopian novels because of reasons so if you want a different thing tmr's definitely a refreshing book because it doesn't follow the rules of that genre but it has a few features of it. The plot is original, never ever read something like that, maybe there're a few series with a similar vibe but that's all. I can't really tell you what it is about tho: SPOILERS (the mystery of this book is one of the best parts of it), but to sum it up you follow the story from Thomas’ point of view, you literally know just what he knows so that's helpful because the beginning of the first one is like WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE but it also pulls you right into the story. A thing that I loved about this series is that there's no political system in which the characters are thrust into, these kids are only teens trying to survive something that's bigger than them and no one can really control. There is, anyway, a sort of enemy that has a dystopian feel to it. Also if you want to know what's going on with the maze and everything you'll have to be patient, you get to know a lot of things but you'll have to wait. Oh and the GIRLS, they are awesome okay, there aren't many, but they will surprise you and maybe you'll be pleased about them, but this is sort of a fandom issue, it depends. I personally believe Teresa's one strong female character and everyone needs to know her story, I love her. Aaaah and there are sassy asian runners with impossible names that’ll make you laugh, but you'll cry a lot too because there's a thing called the death cure that'll rip your soul apart. So yeah, y'all need to read the maze runner.

I'm sorry I know I didn't make it justice but it's because I love these books too much and my english is not perfect
