❝– It isn’t that simple.❞
OH STARS, he wished he it was, he wished he could simply snap himself away from the bond they shared for some unknowable reason and finally focus on the path he’d been forging for himself with no fear of faltering. It could never be that simple for him, nor for her. It seemed the Force had decided - as though it had a will all of its own - that they were meant to be bound up in eachother. To what ends, he couldn’t be sure but he knew they wouldn’t be able to just ignore it. He’d tried that after they’d parted ways and she’d returned to the resistence but that had only lasted so long, eventually they found themselves faced with eachother once more whether they liked it or not.
Huffing out a soft breath, his hands clasped behind his back and he straightened, regarding her with a firm gaze.
❝– I have no more control over it than you do but there must be a reason it’s happening. Don’t act as though you don’t feel it too.. This means something.❞
There was no point in being indirect, they’d get nowhere if they just danced around the subject because their own uncertainties or discomfort - they had to face it if they wanted to understand it and perhaps even take control of it.
