“They tell me I was dancing from the age of two- on flamenco heels, no less- and to be honest, one of the earliest memories of my life is going to my sister’s flamenco lessons and stealing castanets”

The reaspn why i’m referencing his childhood is because, when i was doing this project i didn’t know a lot about this person or what they wanted. I’ve never really worked with dance or know anything about dance as a whole. But when i read this i was happy because, i realised that there is a connection between artists and choreographers, and it’s how we both share the same passion about what we do. Many artists start out drawing at a young age and so has Carlos - knowing this makes me feel like our practices can have similarities despite there differences.
