hello, do you know where I can get more information about motorcycles?

Depends on what you want to know.

Total Motorcycle is probably the best source of information and news and has some handy tools on their site.

IMCDB (Internet Movie Car Database) is great if you want to know more about a bike (or car) in whatever you're watching.

Partzilla is an online parts store that covers most big-name motorcycles, often complete with exploded parts diagrams. I've usually had luck with them with bikes from the 80s and up.

Besides that, there are plenty of webpages, books, articles, videos, documentaries, etc. about motorcycles. Check your library.

All that said, the most valuable and reliable source of motorcycle knowledge is always gonna be whatever old guy with an old bike wants to chat your ear off about them. Go make some friends!

helloo I have a question about your oc Glint, who attacked this guy that it left a whole ass.. scar? on his helmet, considering its beskar it was something powerful I suppose (is it beskar?)

[ART ATTACHED BELOW THE CUT] ahhh oc questions always make me a bit shy so forgive me if my rambling doesn't really make much sense~ .w. just keep in mind what I'm about to go on about is all headcanon stuff and worldbuilding notes I did with my partner for primarily RP. But to answer your question:

Yes the armor is beskar. I'm a little annoyed with what disney canon has done with the lore of the armor, tbh, so personally, I believe the metal it's made from is incredibly strong and durable but its not indestructible or impervious to being damaged. I think its far more interesting if the armor carries scars that tell the story of the wearer's life. In Glint's case, I wanted his armor to show that he's a hunter of animals! A specialized one who dealt with (huge) game and that was his primary role when he was with his clan. The helm scar came from hunting this guy when he was a teenager:

It's called a 'shrieking leopard', nexu variant that stalks the jungles of Mandalore. It's a bit of a pest that over-breeds every season, so culling them is encouraged to keep key prey populations from being wiped out.

As for Glint's run-in with it, it was his first hunting expedition without the assistance of his clan. Essentially it was a rite to prove he was perfectly capable of doing it on his own. The task was to take down a small male and bring back it's pelt. Unfortunately, he didn't realize that a bigger, angrier female was in the area he tracked his quarry to.

so thus i put my little guy in mortal peril when he was but a wee lad... .u.

BUT now his armor carries some neat nicks and gauges from the encounter! And he came back with two pelts that day. :] BONUS: Some additional sketches I did while putting my thoughts together~

how did Glint and Boba met?

HELLO TO YOU TOOO!! Please bother away, I'm awfully sorry for not answering earlier!!

Ooohh how did they meet? That's a good question ~

They met while Boba was essentially tricked into taking him on as a bounty hunting partner. I say 'tricked' because Glint wasn't exactly part of the initial deal, but the benefactor wanted something very particular.

As any good love story tends to start out; they essentially spent 5 days annoying each other while chasing a mark. :)

TBH I've been meaning to do some loose doodling of that week. RP'd out the whole thing with @dreamingdraig uwu eventually I hope we'll clean it up enough to share~
