Honestly? It had been pure luck that the Avatar had managed to stumble upon Chara. She had noticed when he initially disappeared, due to the fact that is... strange flirting had ceased, and after waiting a short while set out to try to find him. Admittedly she hadn’t been expecting to do so, and because of this, there had been a small amount of surprise on her face when she initially caught sight of him before speaking. Hearing his response to her question though, told her that something else was on his mind; after all, there had been a few times her brother had acted similarly, though since Chara wasn’t Quentin she wasn’t too sure about trying to treat this like she normally did.
Hearing his question about needing something after his statement about being inconsiderate, earned a shake of the head as the Avatar decided to take a couple steps closer towards him... or perhaps towards a spot next to him would be better to say.
“... No, I didn’t need anything. I just noticed that you had sort of... disappeared on me. I was wondering where you had gone, and when I found you here it seemed like you had something on your mind.” She may not have outright said it, but what it reminded her of concerning her brother always made her worry. Though, she did also have to keep in mind that he might have just wanted to go off for a short while alone since they had been together for a time that hadn’t exactly been the most pleasant.
“And I figured I’d ask just in case it was something you might have wanted to talk about. If not though, that’s okay! We haven’t known each other all that long, so it would make a bit of sense if you didn’t really want to talk to me about it.”
