Gable had tried, desperately to hide from his admission but he couldn’t even make it to the edge of the bed before he was promptly pulled back. He hadn’t considered their relationship to have worked such deep emotions out of him but then given the intense personal component it was a wonder things hadn’t hit him quicker. A soft noise left his lips as hands roamed and lips stayed in the crook of his neck, it was difficult not to arch his back a little, “M’not... it’s stupid.. it’s.. I miss you when you’re not here with me..”

It was only professional curiosity he told himself, negating every fact that he couldn’t bring himself to tear his eyes away from the bare torso right in front of him. Cautiously, he took a step forward and reached to trace a line near Diggy’s collarbone, eyes staying focused on the intricate details and not the proximity he’d decreased between the two of them. “They’re nice...” he mumbled, knowing full well that the word ‘nice’ barely even covered it, “Don’t have mine out much but.. you’re always welcome to look so that this doesn’t get weird..”

It was hard not to act like he was a little unsettled, the tone of Derek’s voice had shaken him more than he should have and it was a little difficult to get past it. “I’ll go if it’s too much right now...” his voice indicated that it was the last thing he wanted to do but he didn’t want to be cloying or clingy, a problem people always felt they could tell him about. “Totally understand if you’re still wary, but I’m not her.”

It was hard to stifle the sneeze that had been tickling his nose, yet he managed it, contorting his face with all the subtlety of a brick. “M’fine...” he mumbled, consciously trying not to sound sick, when in fact he was in the throes of a killer cold that wouldn’t leave him alone. Callum braced his weight on the kitchen counter and coughed into the crook of his elbow, he was struggling to stay upright, “...’bout a week and I feel like death..”

“Oh hello... clingy now you’ve got the taste?” she teased, resting her chin on the top of Morgan’s head. It was a little difficult to ignore such a wonderful request when the pack had been having somewhat a lull in activity lately, a pregnancy in their midst was about the only exciting thing that had happened in months. Which meant that Petra could fully take advantage of curling up in bed with her girlfriend, her mate for hours on end without judgement, “Don’t mind obligin’ ya beautiful..”

He was hunched over the desk, scribbling what only had to be incoherent nonsense at this time of the night. Ward was in an inspirational slump, even surrounded by everything he loved: his girlfriend; his dogs; their bikes. But he didn’t want to let it best him, despite protestations that nothing else was going to get done while he was like this. “Mm.. just gotta make this all make sense babe.. take Winston with ya.. I’ll be there in a bit.”

He didn’t even know how he’d mustered up the courage to do it, to actually kiss her, S.abrina Spellman. It had been a long time coming, could feel his emotions growing slowly to the surface until he couldn’t push them down anymore, he was so glad he gave in. A hand rested carefully at the base of her spine, consciously not moving any lower when they finally both pulled away for air. Arlo’s lips felt like they were vibrating and he couldn’t help but smile his signature grin as she responded, “Guess my feelings are pretty clear, no?”

     A soft smile pulled at the younger man’s lips. A fuzzy warm affection filling his chest and painting his cheeks a soft pink as he gazed up at the older man. Just taking a moment to bask in the genuine worry and care Noctis freely gave. 

          “ I’ll be okay. Promise. There’s no need to worry. ” 

      Despite his words. There was no hiding just how much he adored the man. And how much he appreciated the fact that the older Fae worried for him. It was flattering, to say the least. It didn’t help that he was falling helplessly in love with the fae. So the attention was very much appreciated.

          “ I’ll be back before you know it. I’ll even bring a souvenir! I mean, I’m not going far, but it’s the thought that counts right? ”
