*Cherrie explaining pigeon catching in bg*
Rosalind: “You ready to get home?”
Odette: “Yes... and no. I’m not excited for what’s waiting for us...”
Rosalind: “Did you reach out to... your step-mother?”
Odette: “...yeah. She gave me the location and time of the service... she can’t wait to see me.”
Rosalind: “You ready?”
Odette: “As long as you’ll be there.”]
Rosalind: “Always.”
Clover: “...it already hurts.”

Choux: “...”
Clover: “I don’t know when I’ll ever see you again...”
Choux: “Hey... hey... it’s not like I’m disappearing forever...”
Clover: *sniffle* “Don’t pretend to be okay with this.”
Choux: *sniff* “I... I don’t want to have an ocean between us again...”
Clover: “Shhh... I know... I know...”
Clover: “I know it sounds strange but I think having something tangible will make things easier? It’ll be something to hold onto! Ooooo! And tell me the dates of your breaks, and I’ll tell you mine. I’m sure we could work out some little way of meeting up... and-”
Choux: “Clover.”
Clover: “Surely Maman and Papa wouldn’t object... I don’t know about your Maman though... But I know she is wonderful. She’d be sure to let you go. Or maybe she wouldn’t. What would we do then in that case?! Oh no, that’d actually be the wors-” *omph*
Cherrie: “Choux? Are you okay?”
Choux: “Huh? Oh. Yeah.”
Mirabelle: “I don’t buy it. You’ve been staring wistfully out the window since we got here.”
Cherrie: “I saw that too. Is something wrong?”
Mirabelle: “He’s missing his green bean, duh.”
Cherrie: “Mira! Hush! Choux?”
Choux: “I’m alright Cher, really. I’ll just... miss the place, you know?”
Cherrie: “You’re right! Mac and I had so much fun chasing pigeons on one of the beaches yesterday. If only you could’ve been there, then we could’ve all done it together.”
Mirabelle: “Cher, I love you, I really do, but how is chasing pigeons fun?”
Cherrie: “??? You get to run around and then they squak and flee! You gotta try and catch one! Mac got one, but I got two!”
Mirabelle: “You touched a wild pigeon.”
Cherrie: “Yup. I don’t see why not... and it’s not like I held it for a while. We let them go once we caught em’! Kinda like fishing... but more fun!”
