This is his 4th time in the shelter. https://adopt.adopets.com/pet/7929044d-218a-499f-b16d-dfa28a0c91d3?tracking=5fe6fe13-955e-4666-8b94-612894901714 February 2020 - picked up as stray March 2020 - adopted March 2020 - returned after 24 hours for “unwanted gift” March 2020 - adopted again March 2020 - returned 3 days later for “euthanasia request - bite history” April 2020 - adopted again July 2021 - returned again for “personal problems”. The last adopter who had him over a year said he is house-trained and crate-trained, enjoys squeaky/plush toys and going for walks, knows sit, down, come, and off, does not do well with kids. He’s now code red for “kennel reactivity, previous bite, history of aggression in home”. My experience with him: He is nervous in his kennel but give him a few treats and he warms up. He was easily leashed and relaxed quite a bit once outside. He was affiliative, treat motivated, knew sit, and was not sensitive to touch on his head, feet, back, or tail. He showed no aggression through the fence meeting another large male dog and did well during his dog test with another large female dog. Available for adoption, foster or rescue!
