Here is a wonderful interview with Jim and Chris, who perform an acoustic version of Wilderness Of A Wild Youth. I don't know about you guys, but I fall a little more in love with that song every time I hear it!

Tonight was spectacular and can we just acknowledge the fact that my phone camera has no zoom and i was genuinely this close (feel free to delete this caption when reblogging if you want)
I knew the homecoming gig would be amazing but I didnt imagine this omg I have never been in a room of people who so genuinely wanted to be where they were. Before the gig we met Phil because he was at the merch stand and he was so so lovely he signed are tickets and said not to be scared to ask the others to do the same because theyd love to. The set was incredible you could see how at home they felt particularly Jim who started talking about his old bands and how grateful he was that he got to play at Pigs back then and how happy he was to be back and you could see how much he meant it. The atmosphere was insane and despite it being about a billion degrees and Pigs being more packed than ever the energy was electric and the crowd was singing so loud particularly to A Song About Death and Warriors everyone was moving so much i got pushed onto the stage repeatedly and nearly stood on Chris’ equipment but luckily a stranger grabbed me as i was falling wolves was beautiful too everyone still sang but it was all quiet and sweet at the start and as their encore they played from the crowd and the sense of unity between everyone singing Boat Song was so lovely it felt like a big family theres so much more to say about the set but im rambling but then I got Chris’ (heavily used by the looks of things) pick and my friend got their set list and we met Jim and Chris (idk where Simon was) very very briefly afterwards and they signed our tickets too and they were genuinely just so grateful that we were there and so happy to sign things and take photos they were just so down to earth it was so lovely aw this was genuinely one of the best gigs if not the best gig ive ever been to
