This Land is Your Landfill, an album by The Homeless Gospel Choir on Spotify
Maybe you’ve already seen people post about it, Frank mentioned it in his Instagram Story and made a post, but I feel like not enough people talk about this yet. The Homeless Gospel Choir (who toured with Frank’s bands in 2015 and 2017) published a new album yesterday called “This Land is Your Landfill”.
It has amazing lyrics like “We’ll die young at heart and we’ll die punk as fuck” (Punk As Fuck), “You know your greatest fear is that you’ll always be too something for someone else to love”, “Or when your friends pretend you’re joking even though they know your heart is broken” (both from Don’t Compare) or “I wanna be me, when i look in the mirror i wanna like what i see” (Young and in Love) and many many more.
I listened to the album fives to seven times yesterday, i lost count. So go check it out, support DIY punk rock, and even more important: this album is fantastic and features many great musicians. Do yourself a favour, take 34mins out of your day, and give it a listen.
