After CM Punk announced that he would be unable to compete against Chris Hamrick due to a head injury, Hamrick convinced Punk to go ahead with the match after agreeing to not attack his head.

During the match, Hamrick seemed to suffer a knee injury, causing Punk to help until Hamrick attacked Punk.

After Kid Kash defeated E.Z. Money to earn Joel Gertner a match against Cyrus, Hot Commodity continued to attack Kash and Spike Dudley until The Sandman made the save, leading to a match between Gertner and Cyrus. In the end, thanks to help from Sandman, Joel Gertner defeated Cyrus. After the match, Gertner, Kash, and Spike celebrated with Sandman. (ECW Anarchy Rulz 10/1/2000)

Money and Kid Kash, with the stipulation that if Kash won, Gertner would get a match against Cyrus.
